2 Pack - 2" Wide Highline Premium Bristle Paint Brushes

I use these for varnish. No one had done a review for varnish use, but I thought I'd try. The first brush I used I was almost entirely disappointed because these weren't supposed to shed hairs. So my first piece of wood must have had about 7 hairs and I was very upset. However, they seem to have been a few stray loose ones because all the rest of the wood I varnished had not one hair come out. I also used the second brush and no hairs came loose on that one, so for the money, I would say these were a good deal, just watch the first few minutes of use as there might be some loose hairs.

I have not had a chance to use them yet, but they're so much better than the house paint brushes I have been using! I can't wait to try them out!

i use paint brushes to apply epoxy to live edge cribbage boards and tables. when the finnish dried on the two foot diameter live edge maple round, i noticed something that went undetected during application. there was a single brush bristle encapsulated in the completed table top. it went from a masterpiece to a piece of scrap. this is not a new experience. so far every paint brush less than $9 i have tried has left a bristle or two. my fault. i shall be more observant in the future. these brushes deserve another try. best. tom collyer

The brushes are thick, and shed from the first use. I hate picking bristles out of a painting. I recommending buying a better quality.

I bought these to use once and throw away so couldn't tell you if you can clean. They work ok.

I’ll use this fresh one time I use it to get a base coat on a canvas just split basic gesso and I lost at least six hairs from the first brush but I gave the second pressure chance and it did just the same thing I don’t recommend even as a cheap Fuller brush I wouldn’t waste my money
