Game Changer Unloader Left Knee Brace - Lightweight, Low Profile OA Knee Brace for Arthritis Pain and Support - Premium Knee Support for Medial and Lateral Knee Pain (Left)

Ive had a bad knee for 40 some years. 6 months ago, I fell and broke my tibia just below the knee. After it healed the pain when i walked was intense. When I saw the brace advertised I decided to give it a try. The result was truly remarkable. The pain is still there but greatly reduced. The brace is comfortable and not bulky, fits well, stays in place and really supports my knee. At first, trying to adjust the straps seemed a bit much but once done, its like hand in glove; I love it. The material and workmanship is first rate and made to last. I am considering ordering another for my other knee because it too is weak. A hospital offered a similar device but wanted 700 dollars. So the price for this one is a real bargain.

This brace worked better than expected. It took a lot of the pressure off my knee. I'm able to walk with very little pain. Very pleased with it. It's easy to put on once the straps are adjusted and it stays in place all day.

It was quite easy to figure out and put on. I did have to read the instructions again to figure out how to lengthen a strap. I thought they sent a strap that was too short, but after re-reading the instructions I realized that the Velcro connector that creates the permanent loop was Velcro on both sides making it movable. There is plenty of adjustment. I am sure that it would fit almost all adult leg sizes. It is so nice to feel relief. One other thing to note. it defaults to a right side brace. I looked at a couple of other options and then came back to this one and forgot to check left so I had to return and re-order to get the correct one.

Excellent product but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. They start off by using clinical names of bones for placing the apparatus but the picture is dead wrong and the directions stop half way into the instructions! I was very confused for a few days. Finally personal trainer showed me how it worked. But, the great news is that yes, it does indeed help with knee pain while awaiting surgery. My husband was leveling his pain at an 8 throughout his day and with the brace is a 5, which makes waiting for surgery much more bearable. I can’t say it stays in place perfectly because we use a bamboo knee sleeve under it to protect his skin front the straps. Because of that, it does slide around a bit.

This is a game changer for my knee. I'm bow legged, so my knees would normally be a problem as I got older. This devise takes some of the weigh off by transferring up the brace. Also the side adjustment helps push against the opposite force of my bowed legs, giving me less pressure on my weaken cartilage. GAME CHANGER! I probably buy another for the other leg. Definitely a great value. For legs of very heavy peeps, 400+, find a larger type.

Update After MRI: well, I was wrong. my meniscus is torn (a lot) and recommend surgery. It's torn enough where they don't think its repairable vs removing the torn part. As most of you may know, surgery can be a discretion thing (based on lifestyle, level of activity, pain management) so I am currently weighing my options.. This brace makes it to where I can do more but it will NOT change the pain/irritation related to deep bending. the doctor saw my brace and acted like he liked it and said "the right brace can make a big difference". I usually wait longer to write reviews but was happy with the difference this has made so will write one now and update later. Background: I am under 40 and fairly fit. I have had a knee issue since February 2025. not sure what caused it exactly, but it started modest. Deep bends and strenuous activity would aggravate the inside right of my left knee. it would get very painful, tender to the touch. Caused occasional sleepless nights and limited my activity. I babied it all summer and wore a brace most of the summer, avoided a lot of activities with my kids, but did continue to do some things like mow, weed eat, walk around. (no exercise, no sports, not much physical activity). In July, I even passed all the basic knee tests (Macmurry, etc,) and an Xray - which I had this appointment because the pain did not go away all the way. Then, in late July, I had to begin some work on a house that involved quite a bit of bending, and carrying heavy items out of basement. Weeks of doing this on and off finally led to a weekend of me not being able to walk. the pain was so intense I could not get in and out of my vehicle (couldn't bend the leg without severe pain) and lost several nights of sleep. I iced 20 times over the course of 2-3 days, and rested for 2-3 days. I then ordered this brace, but in parallel I did also push for an MRI (which is scheduled). I ordered this brace because I knew that regardless of what I found out, I needed some relief, this was on on-going issue, and it takes time to get MRI and surgery if I need it. I got the brace on TUESDAY and immediately started wearing it. (this was after the weekend I was on crutches and in bad pain). I wore the brace all day each day. IMPORTANT my favorite part of this brace is that it has NO METAL on the side where the MCL attaches (inner knee) - if you remember, that is where my knee was sensitive to the touch. whereas every single other brace I had put pressure on the inside of knee and made it hurt worse. Thursday - not even a full week after I couldn't walk - I decide to risk bowling league - since I had the MRI scheduled anyhow and the knee was doing better (with the brace), I wanted to see what would happen. Zero sharp pains for 3 games. The day after, I mowed and weed-eated... Do I think this brace made me magically better? Not all by itself. I did take it easy and iced for several days. But do I think this brace absolutely allows functions and will help recovery, regardless of what the MRI finds? YES. Game Changer? I believe so. As I write this I do have some tenderness in the knee, but no sharp pains. I can walk... I will have my MRI and results within a few weeks, at the point I can update this review to share what my actual issue was, as I think perhaps it can help someone with the same journey. Note: my legs are pretty small so I did have to trim 2 of the straps. I didn't realize that was part of the fitting so pay attention if you get the brace and don't think it fits - you can trim all of the straps. i don't know if my type of injury benefits from the "unloader" feature, but you will need to play with that for comfort.

Really glad I bought this brace after visiting orthopedic doctor and finding out was wrong with my knee. This brace allows me to fine tune the adjustment for walking and running so that the bones within my knee joint do not slam together, causing pain. This was well worth the cost to prevent knee pain moving forward. This brace seems to be of very high-quality and appears that it will last for a long time.

This brace is a big help with knee issues. Wearing it correctly temporarily elevates knee pain. Brace comes with a large adjusting tool for mynute +/- tensions. Only complaint is some slight itching.

This is a quality product for sure,it simply did not work for me.l tryed many adjustments,but did not alter the product in any way. It simply did not provide adequate pain relief in my case. May work great for others.

This works as well as the $900 one the local medical supply wanted to sell me. It takes a little bit to get used to, don't go too tight at first with the screw, but amazingly it took the pressure off my knee and it didn't hurt to walk. It's not a cure but it does allow you to do activities without pain.

great brace, adds stiffness and offloads the knee, looks cyborgie, cool, but actually it is barely noticeable during sports (running or pickleball)

The product worked well initially, but after just few days of minimal use, the adjustment nut came loose and detached entirely. This suggests a possible design or manufacturing issue. Unfortunately, this experience has affected my confidence on Ovation medical products, as I expected better durability for normal use.
