This is a wonderful addition to any cookbook collection. There is a lot of variety with a bunch of very tasty meatless dishes (and a ton of good meat and fish dishes). Some of the recipes are a little involved (buts that's what weekends are for, right?) Lots of great photos that make you want to get in the kitchen and start chopping stuff up.

This is my second copy -- I bought this for a friend. My copy is full of tab markers highlighting my favorite go-to recipes. I've made so many dishes using this book --- and served them to friends and family alike. It covers so many regions, the photographs of the dishes are beautiful and the recipes are no-frills and simple to follow. This is a good addition to anyone's cookbook library.

I ordered this at a sale price for a Mediterranean themed raffle basket at work. It was so nice that I ended up keeping the other 2 small items that I had bought because I didn't want it to look like I spent too much. There's a mixture of simple, classic recipes and more complicated, fancy ones.

This is an updated version of a classic that I've loved and used for years. It now has the standard American measures along with metric equivalents. The trim size is now smaller, so this version is harder to read than the original, but the recipes are as clear and delicious as ever.

Not a fan of all the recipes- can be confusing because they don’t use American words for all the vegetables. They don’t always give the temp to cook certain items and leaves you guessing as to what to do.

Amazing recipes, stories and pictures!

I am really enjoying this cookbook as it has lots of interesting recipes. I have found recently that I have been stuck in a bit of a rut with my cooking so I wanted something a bit different. So far I have been pleased with what I have tried and even my fussy kids have enjoyed them!

I'm working my way through these recipes one by one. They are simple to follow, plenty of variety and so far very tasty. This is from a full time worker cooking for four with one a vegetarian so the recipes need to be uncomplicated but I do pre-prepare some dishes at the beginning of the week to save time when i know I will be tired. I find this book quite flexible to choose and plan the weeks dishes from. Highly recommended and good for inspiration.

I bought this a while ago on the basis of a single recipe that I think was posted on a blog somewhere. When it arrived I thought maybe I had been a little hasty as it looks like one of those cheap books with too many pictures and printed on shiny paper. But my initial impressions were so wrong. It is a real gem. Now the sun is out, I am working my way through the recipes. Not one has disappointed so far, and some have been outstanding.

Bought this book as a present for a friend. I have an earlier hardback version. The recipes are well explained and very interesting many have become family favourites. Most of the recipes are practical as they can be accomplished without huge expenditure.Suitable for the Haynes manual school of cooking read the book and it tells you how to do it.

I have about 300 recipe books and this one is definitely going to be at the top of my list for my Mediterranean recipe books, well written, beautiful pictures and absolutely delicious recipes. I received the book about an hour ago and I have already marked so many recipes which I intend trying. If you want a good Mediterranean recipe book I can strongly recommend this one even though I have not tried the recipes as yet they all look very yummy! It was definitely a good purchase and I am delighted to add it to my library of recipe books.
