No Use for 18mm
Not as robust as some and useless for 18mm chrome tubes. Even at the maximum tightness the holder spins around like an aircraft propeller.

Doing great so far!
This was an inexpensive fix to the problem of our hand-held shower's original bracket losing its grip. Only time will tell how long the adjustable plastic gripper will does its job, but for now it's great. One has to remove the lower attachment point from the chrome bar that holds the shower head bracket, and it was easier with two people rather than one. But other than that, installation was simple.

I love the shower head holder
I really love the head shower holder; it is extremely easy to install and very solid. I love it so much that i bought two, One for my bath bench and the other one for a holding bar on the wall.

Worth it! So easy!
My the shower in my rented unit was broken. landlord replaced the shower head. However the shower head did not properly fit the original holder, eventually it cracked. Went around Home Depot and the prices were stupid. Got this, reviews were less about 4 stars, was a bit skeptical.It however fits like a glove, used it for 6 months until the LL had to move back in. But till then it had a strong grip and it just did a really god job good job. Takes less than 10 second to install.

Check your wall clearance
Product seems fine, maybe a little light/flimsy, but for $10, what do you expect?. The problem I ran into was that my Hansgrohe shower bar only had about 3/4" clearance from the wall and that is simply not enough for this unit to work. Not only does the tightening knob hit the wall preventing the bar from rotating, but the shower head holder is so close to the wall that the hose does not run free and clear. I think this holder would probably work just fine with a shower bar with 2" clearance.
