Brilliant writer
The plot of this story shines like a diamond. Emeka has brought to life in this fictional world a story that feels as though it could be real. The pain and trauma as well as gloriousness of black fathers and sons relationship is so finely put into words. I truly enjoyed this book and will recommend it to anyone who loves literature that’s beautifully and intricately written (which should be everyone). A great read indeed. I highly recommend.

Engaging, suspenseful, dramatic!
I found Ikenna to be an extremely enjoyable read. The scenes were well set and it was very easy to get into the story. Without giving too much away, the book is very engaging and riddled with drama! There is a lot of suspense and the book definitely kept me on my toes.Tobe is so wet.. I didn’t know whether to hate him, love him or pity him. IKENNA is a typical teen but he is also clearly maturing. I found the book to also be very insightful into current topical events happening in Nigeria with the Fulani herdsmen. A great read. I’d definitely recommend!
