better than clay. heat management is better.

its super nice and easy to clean but but hits like a sissy. i had to drill more holes into the to and put a coal cover on to keep the heat and then it hits fine. has its ups and downs.

I had bought one of these at a local shop for a lot more money, so if you want it, buy it here! I love it, perfect for coconut charcoal. DO NOT USE WITH INSTANTLIGHTS! They don't produce nearly enough heat (although the product box uses a ring coal, it doesn't work). The silicone in the sliding tray may rip and the thin strip of silicone above the tray my as well but it doesn't gender performance. It comes all the way apart and cleans easily and doesn't need a grommet. And you only need 2 coals for a smooth smoke but can fit up to four if your trying to get crazy.
