iLUX 10W Smart Flood Light 3 Packs

Bought these for exterior lighting during the holidays. One set was able to wash the front of the house for Halloween. (Red uplights were from two of the three. App was easy to use and allow you to store multiple preset scenes. Lights return to last config when powered on. This allowed me to build the scene and run it unattended via timer. The remote allowed easy customization of light groups without having to have the phone all the time. Looking forward to using these for other projects such as supplemental lights for an upcoming Christmas pageant. Downside is the app is not available on all platforms, so leveraging a tablet such as a kindle does not work.

Easy to setup and easy to change the color using the updated iOS app. They also come with a separate physical remote which is great if you just want to pick a default mode or change the colors. Like others I could not get the microphone sensing to work, but the built in music player and ability to setup a custom Effect Mixers worked well to time lights to specific songs. Overall these are great outdoor flood lights for spooky holiday lighting. I used two of these to light a large tree trunk and 4 more to wash the front of our house for Halloween. The tree is about 30 feet, just under 10 meters, from the nearest lights that I used to wash the front of the house. I had no issues getting all of them to connect and stay sync’s to the music and selected colors. In the future I hope LE will make an iLUX Smart Flood in a 20 watt or 50 watt version, but the 10w version is surprisingly bright and perfect for use when multiple lights to setup as a group to cover a larger area. NOTE in the photo, the top of the tree is lit with two 1000 watt par stage lights and two 50 watt RGB led stage lights. The trunk is lit with two 10w iLUX Smart Outdoor LED Flood lights.

The lights are great. They are bright. They will dim too and change colors. I can alter them with the app. The downside is distance of connectivity is short. I have to stand right next to each light to change it. So the zone or grouping doesn't work because they are spread out around the yard. Maybe if I had multiple wifi boosters it would work but it dont. They are still nice lights though.

I was absolutely amazed at the ease of setting this up to Bluetooth on my Galaxy S9 and then playing the music through my Bose Bluetooth was beyond my expectations!!! All my neighbors commented of the light show synced to the music and thought I had spent a long time setting it all up. It was super easy and super fast, I ordered 3 sets of 3, but only put out 6 lights in total for Halloween, but I'll use all nine for Christmas I'm sure!!!

Oh My Gosh! I got the 10 watt 3 pack which comes with a remote. BUT! When you Download the Phone App, WOW! I have the 3 wired to my Pool House and they Dance Fantastic to the Music! They are Plenty Bright for what we need in fact I jeep them down low and they work great. White mode at 100% is just right for a gathering or make it any color you like!

Do not buy from NEON MART UPDATE 12/16/17 After contacting the seller, they informed me there was NOTHING more they could do for me with the light and fixing or replacing it since amazon refunded me. Terrible service on the sellers part!! The item comes with a warranty and it states to contact the seller. However, NEON MART doesn’t stand behind the item. I’m not trying to get something for free. I just need the light fixed or replaced so I can use it for my display! UPDATE 12/15/17 I brought these lights out to use for our Christmas display. Only 2 out of the 3 work. They were properly store in their box for a month and now the one light is defunct. I’m pretty bummed about it since we do a huge display for the holidays. Amazon refunded me the whole amount even though it’s outsode the return window. I will email the company and see how their 2 year warranty works and update this review accordingly. I really like these lights and how versatile they are. I used three in my yard for Halloween. They are not hugely bright but they worked to light up some displays. If you want up lights you’ll need to get higher watts. The set up is annoying with their app. I would recommend they work on the bugs. It took me a few hours to get it worked out. That could just be because of my iPhone settings. I tried to contact customer service and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Although you can set the lights to music, it does take some figuring out. Again, that could be due to my iPhone but I haven’t been able to play songs I’ve downloaded from Apple Music, only ITunes. I do love how I can set it up with Bluetooth to my phone and can control the lights from one easy spot. I was able to change the light colors easily. If you have no other flood lights being used with these 3 LED lights, it will be pretty dark. For any larger projects, order higher wattage or additional lights. Upto 50 lights can be added to one phone, which is awesome.

I was considering using these for regular landscape, up-lighting, but that is not realistic. The app to control them is good, but does not allow you to schedule them (ie turn on from 7-11 every night). You have to turn them on manually then the only timing functionality is to set a timer to turn off (the longest to be set is 60 minutes). I see them as being good for holiday lighting or possibly for musicians playing out. The lights seem well made and there are some cool functions. While they do pulse and change color to the music, I don't think it is actually to the beat. Lastly, should be known that they are made in China. Amazon refuses to tell you the country of origin on their product.
