This combo is great! I can keep my handheld PC charged up on long car rides and my phone at the same time. Extra handy since hotspotting while gaming on the phone will kill it's battery in no time this keeps everything together.With testing I was able to draw just under 5A on the PD/USB C and 3A on the USB A. The unit was a bit warm (case temp 30C/90F) after about 15 minutes at these sustained rates. With a more moderate load of 40-50W with a Legion Go the case temp in shade was only a couple degrees above ambient which did not change after a couple hours of use.The only thing i would change is make the wire for the 12v plug a little longer, as it is if the port is on the dash it has to dangle and ports near the shifter either hit the shifter or driver's leg.

I have an HP laptop and ordered this to use when I have to work on a road trip. It has helped me out in a pinch when my laptop is not fully charged. I have not used it extensively so I cannot comment on it longevity or whether it gets overheated after long usage, but it did what I needed it to and kept my laptop charged while working (from the passenger seat) on a 4 hour road trip.

Being able to charge my Macbook in my truck is great! I highly recommend a charging cable like this for DC power systems (think: vans, buses, RVs, boats, etc.). Converting from DC to DC is way more efficient than converting from DC to AC and back to DC.I've only used this for basic charging, not for heavy duty energy consumptive tasks like video editing or gaming. It's been fine for my needs.Also, the fact that it's a USB-C with PD (power delivery -- what MacBooks and some other USB-C devices need), is great!However, there are some simpler 100W PD chargers that are more similar to regular USB cigarette lighter chargers. It worked at first and then it blew all of my outlet fuses.

This is super handy for charging high output devices like laptops while out and about on the go. Did great powering my 2019 MacBook Pro without issues and I know other chargers can be touchy with it.

This charger is great for being able to use our laptops in the car. Whether traveling or working in the car while waiting for kid to get out of school in the afternoons. My wife and I have always struggled with battery life on our work laptops, this charger is great for my wife's Dell Latitude, it keeps her laptop fully charged all day. For my Dell Precision it is good for extending battery life and minimizing battery drain, but the laptop comes with a 180 watt charger for a reason. The charger fits nicely in the glovebox so it is always available, may get another one to put in my truck so we can have one in both vehicles. Definitely pleased with this charger and the versatility that it provides us.

I have this USB-C laptop car charger, which is a perfect fit for my laptop. The charger is 90% efficient and meets my expectations. I also use it for my other old HP laptop, and it gets warm but not too hot as long as it isn't covered.
