the first stylus i received was defective and requires heavier-than-usual pressure to draw on my remarkable2. i write with very light pressure so this matters to me a lot. but once i reported this to the seller, they were super friendly and immediately sent me a replacement. the replacement works well --- writes smoothly with moderate-to-light pressure. when significantly tilted, it still requires some pressure to draw, but very reasonable. most people around me write with heavy pressure so i'm sure this will work well for most people! btw: yes you can use the original remarkable2 stylus tips for this one, if you prefer more paper-like friction at the tip.

Not wanting to buy the overpriced official pen for my Remarkable 2, this pen is excellent value for money. It performs well, has a nice feel writing on the Remarkable 2 and the eraser function works perfectly. Best of all, the magnet is strong and won't fall off the side of my tablet easily. It comes with 5 spare tips. The weight is light but it means you won't get tired a wrist using it all day. Also the Customer service is exemplary. I had a small problem with my pen, and because I live in Singapore, I could not register for lifetime warranty (no US Postal code). Not a problem! After contacting the company via their website, Ryan (the company owner) emailed me back and offered to replace my pen free of charge! A few days later I have my new pen and I'm enjoying using it! Thanks Ryan. I recommend this product. You won't be disappointed.

Update: The company sent me a new pen (I'm nobody, by the way, just a guy who bought this pen on Amazon), without me even asking for it. Initially the new pen exhibited the same skipping the original one did, especially when writing the letter "S" and when dotting the "i", both on e-ink tablets and on my Samsung Tab S. But after a few minutes of scribbling the pen began working flawlessly. My guess would be that the capacitor used in the pen simply needs some time to charge properly and create a good LC circuit, but this is just conjecture on my part. So knowing this and the stellar customer service - I'm bumping my review to 4 stars. There are still things I don't like about this pen, like its top-heaviness and the eraser location, but if those are non-issues to you, then this is a very good pen. Just know that if it skips on receipt - scribble for a bit or attach the pen to the side of your reader/tablet for a while to let the capacitor build up charge. Original Review: Trying it on Boox Go 10.3, this pen was a huge disappointment. The pen skips a lot, unless you press hard when writing, and the nib is very smooth, giving you the feel of writing on an oled tablet screen, rather than an eink notebook. Palm rejection doesn't always work either. The eraser function being on the top of the pen is not as convenient as having a button at your fingertips, requiring a flip of the pen in your hand every time you want to erase; at this point it's faster to use the toolbar eraser than the one on the pen. For the price, I recommend the samsung s-pen instead of this one.

Decent pen for Remarkable 2. Feels good, writes well. I've been having issues with the tips as they keep falling out when I pick up my pen from writing, so I have to search for them on the desk, floor, or stop and replace them with a new one, so I use them quickly. I write all day, most days, so I really need a pen that can be consistent.

Very happy with this purchase. I lost my pen for my Remarkable 2 tablet and purchased this as it was slightly cheaper than purchasing a genuine remarkable pen. The sensitivity on the tablet is really good, the rubber works perfectly and the magnetic holder, holds the pen against the tablet in a secure manner. If you are looking to buy a replacement pen for your remarkable 2 tablet then I can confirm this does work as expected!

My first v-pen, the eraser stopped working but thought i might simple damage it. My wife ordered another for my birthday, however about a month later, it happened again, eraser stopped working. Seller indicated originally offered a refund but still wait and ignore emails/comments.
