This blanket was a little big for our guinea pig hutch so we use it at the end of our bed instead, the dogs love it and it’s a nice sleeping area for them that we can easily remove and shake out. Fits easily in the washing machine as well.

As soft as they say; keeps everything cleaner, in and out of the cage
Immediately noticeable is both the cute piggy design, and how very, very soft and warm this is. It was very tempting to keep it as a lovely fleecy blanket for myself, but the pigs got their way eventually.Ideal size for the typical indoor run (and obviously can be folded under if too big), this liner makes a warm and cosy floor for your pets. It keeps the whole environment cleaner both in AND out of cage. Previously the piggies have had a bed of newspaper and straw, and when they come out for their daily play on in the living room carried a fair bit of hay/straw/dust with them. The fleece absorbs not just liquids but the associated smells, making life nicer for the whole family. Since the fleece does absorb the wee, I wouldn't put it straight into the family washing machine - a quick rinse through in warm water first may not be strictly necessary, but alleviates any concerns about putting pet bedding into the washing machine.All round, not a low-price purchase (it's showing as unavailable now, but was on sale at over £50) but in the longer term a good investment that your piggie friends - and your family - will appreciate.
