After reading reviews, my 10-year old son and I were a bit alarmed due to numerous reports citing fire hazards and dangers associated with this product use. Machine arrived yesterday and after assembly plus thorough following of instructions, I must say this product performed wonderfully. I'm almost certain any safety issues noted in negative reviews were strictly due to failure to follow instructions properly. I have attached video below to show the fun we had making our own chocolate cotton candy. Now my only regret is the ensuing diabetic coma my 10-year-old has forced me into after devouring entirely too much of this sweet product 😁

Instructions were unclear but the machine works. I used this for about a week and was happy with the results. After the week, I went to use it and it blew up in flames. This is very unsafe.

This Cotten candy machine was picked because it was the cheapest as we had an older one that would turn off and on and it finally stopped working so we bought a new one which was this one. Once we tested it out it worked great and was quiet. It makes Cotten candy great but it isn’t easy to clean. If you have the time to clean it up this a product for you. It was really fun making Cotten candy as we tried to make the biggest Cotten candy. Note: doesn’t come with Cotten candy sugar. I recommend buying it from Cotten candy express as the flavoring is very tasty.

Works wonderful. I was leery about it before buying it because of reviews and videos of sugars catching fire. Those videos are misleading, there is a spinner wheel that comes in the bottom of the machine that those people failed to use. This little machine works perfectly. My son has setup a lemonade stand and now sells cotton candy. Great purchase!!!

So I bought the machine to use for when my nieces and nephews came over for a movie night. The date got pushed back to this Sat. Oct 25th, so just testing machine out before they get here and the two plastic pieces that go on top do not fit together. Since I have had device about 2 days past return, I'm going to tape them together and pray for a miracle. Other than that it seems to work fine but we'll see what happens.

This thing is so sketchy & unsafe I'm surprised it hasn't been taken off the market. It started burning the 1st time we used it & it was on for maybe a total of 4 minutes! Count 2 minutes for warm up, started smelling like burnt plastic, turned it off, (like it says) added sugar to tray, started machine, it seemed very unsafe, I didn't even make a half stick before I was too afraid & turned it off & that's when I saw that the side of the tray is burnt! (You can see in picture) I got this for my daughters birthday party. I won't be using it at all! Returning asap! What a waste of time & VERY DANGEROUS! Also paid extra for the pink one & received a white machine.
