This book is a fantastic, useful tool for any Bass player...it covers every style of music and has audio examples and written notation for ease of learning, a truly magnificent learning tool..if you play bass, quite frankly, this book is essential.

Excellent!

This is a very overpriced book. The accompanying DVD was what attracted me to it but the guy playing has terrible technique and doesn't make any of the styles groove. Styles are very generic (which is probably par for the course for any book like this) but not one of them inspired me to pick up my bass and start playing. Not good for students to learn from. Also the menu system is awful to navigate. A huge disappointment.
