Sounds decent in my boat

We had small shelves to mount speakers, and these were perfect.

Sounds clear and great

I was excited to review these and use them, they look pretty nice and the 240W rating had me believe they would suit my needs.PROS:- They look nice- Packaging is great- Included mounting brackets that are pre installed- Convenient pre-wired speakers waiting to be connectedCONS:- WEAK sound. I tried these using a 2.1 amp listening to a political commentator, Vaush and it was completely clipping as if the speakers were not strong enough to project the sound- Price too high to have sound this weak- Lower volumes are fine, but not excellentOverall, I would not purchase these unless you have a specific use for them, such as very small shelter or somewhere they should be quiet anyways, like a lobby. They completely sound blown out when I turn them up to higher volumes, and above 50 dollars is too much for these 4 speakers. If the sound was good, they would absolutely be worth the price, afterall you get four whole speakers and that seems like a good deal.

So long story short I build speaker setups. The one up top is my franken speaker V3 model and you can take off the top four speakers and place them around for " surround sound" or" elevated sound" these little speakers pack a freaking punch. Not only that, they're waterproof. Very very punchy, mids and very very nice highs. But as you can see, I had to add a 12-in subwoofer to the system because these do not have any bass whatsoever. If I had to describe these speakers they would be more used for overpowering a loud boat motor or in my use case scenario a PA system. THEY ARE LOUD, and they provide clear vocals and crisp highs. That being said, the sound carries a very long way because of their design, again, these do not have Bass and that's okay because that's their design they were designed in my opinion to be paired with the subwoofer

These speakers are slightly bigger than the speakers I replaced which were west marine brand. I hoped the sound would be decent but was I disappointed…. Weak output, zero bass and the bass sound it did output was reminiscent of cheap Walkman headphones. Planning on trashing them when I find a replacement

I put these little guys up on the outside of our pool house on the porch. The fact that they are weatherproof means that they should have no problem being outside for extended periods of time. They sound pretty good, and were easy to wire. The white finish looks nice and they're very unobtrusive and were easy to hang. This will make it easier to rock out by the pool in the summertime

I installed this on my small fiberglass boat. I put a small stereo deck I'm connected these speakers to it. Even with splashing it worked perfectly fine, an overall audio quality surprisingly good for its size.I like that it can be mounted on a deck versus having to be cut out into the body of the boat. Has a nice clean finish to it and it looks nice. I opted for the white one because in the summertime black devices get very hot. I hope this one lasts a long time as I'm very happy with it so far
