Hi, the color is polished chrome of this chandelier. Light bulb color depends on personal preference. We advise you to use the warm white bulbs to obtain a warm atmosphere, its lighting will be soft and not dazzling. Cool white bulbs do better on keeping crystals to reflect the lights, which can help you to decorate a fantastic room. Thank you.

I wouldn’t use the fixture without the crystals. That’s where the beauty lies.

Q: Can this light fixture be mounted on a 25 deg sloped / graded ceiling to be vertical, or would it need a sloped ceiling adapter? what size and type?

Manual says to mount it horizontal. Could it be done? Maybe, but I wouldn't want to risk changing the way heat dissipates from the fixture. And the crystals would hang too close together, the wave pattern would look odd if slanted. People would know you got lazy and mounted it wrong. There are several ways you could extend down from a flush ceiling, with separate support rods or building a simple box. The lamp looks amazing, and will be worth the trouble and effort to create a good flat mount. I think there may have been some instructions in the manual with suggestions as well. The part which touches the ceiling is a little smaller than the reflective plate. I checked the dimensions on ours ( 28.25" x 8.5" ) but you should wait and measure the unit you receive in case they changed the model in some way since we bought ours a few years ago.

Assembly easy but time consuming!

WOW FACTOR addition to your home!Assembly is much much faster with two people! Assemble big globes to wire first keeping them in order from 1 to 18 (6 strings per set)Light bridge with all wires and globes is quite heavy and can get tangled beyond repair (well almost). Recommend hanging light bridge to ceiling first without wires / globes.Then with one person on table or ladder and one at floor level, have the floor person hand one string with crystals at a time to person on ladder.

Takes time to assemble..... but beautiful once up and lite!

It took my husband and me about 90 minutes to install the light. It was NOT difficult but it was a little time-consuming. BUT.... worth it. the light is beautiful! We love the "Turquois" color but there are many colors to choose from. Great Value!
