Li'l Pals® Bristle Brush

I work at a non profit no-kill cat shelter and sanctuary. With it being kitten season, we were on the hunt for a brush to assist with cleaning bottle baby kittens. We are currently using toothbrushes but they're a little too soft. Since mama's tongues have "spikes" on them, we wanted something to mimic mama's grooming. When we came across the product, we knew we had to try it. We tried a couple of different brushes but this one is the favorite hands down. It's the perfect texture and size for these precious little beans. We are now going to order some more for our fosters! Thank you for a great product!

I have a 6 month old miniature pinscher. Shedding for him involves losing like 5 strands of fur. If you're looking for brush to get a lot of fur out (and for said fur to stay in the brush), this probably won't be the brush for you. It works for me and my pup because I just wanted the ability to brush him to help remove any dirt on his skin (he LOVES to roll around in whatever interesting smells he finds outside) and any dried dog slobber (he has a big brother who is a drooly mastiff LOL). Anyways, back to the brush - the bristles are very soft (as other people have mentioned. They are perfect for my min pin because he has such short fur (and barely any fur on his belly). I also like the size of it. My fiance joked and asked why I bought a Barbie brush for him (and to those wondering, yes, this brush is in fact bigger than a Barbie brush LOL). It's honestly the perfect size to be able to brush every adorable fur covered nook and cranny on my furbaby.

Works pretty well for my Maltipoo puppy with about 2" hair. Hair must be completely combed out to be free of mats and tangles before using. At first, I though I just had another chew toy for my puppy but that was because she was so very much matted and tangled when we got her. We took her for a haircut to get all the mats and tangles out and now we are able to use this brush to fluff up after combing . She looks great for about a minute then she does her all body shake and she's back to being matted looking but I know her skin got some good brushing. Would. to recommend this brush for larger dogs - would take too long to brush out.

This little brush is the perfect size for a small toy breed or puppy. It is soft and my dog loves being brushed with it! I have a long haired silky terrier and this brush works amazingly well! So happy I found this little gem I also use with Lil pals pin brush if their are any matts. Buy it you won't regret it if you have a small breed puppy with sensitive skin. Can also be used on their faces.

I was a bit skeptical when I received the brush because it's so small, but it's perfect for my two baby yorkies. The bristles are small gentle enough to use on their faces & sturdy enough to prevent or remove any tangles. I use BioSilk for dogs Detangler spray, too. The girls actually love to be brushed. I brush them daily & only use the spray occasionally. It's a great little beginner brush!

This is a well-made sturdy little brush but the bristles are just a too soft to get to the base of my Shorkies coat. Mostly “pushes” the hair around. Good for a finishing brush to apply a show sheen. Not good for combing out snarles.

This is the only brush my long haired Guinea pig LIKES! He sits still for a brushing with this particular brush, everything else I have tried he squirms. Works well for removing dead hair too

Tiny brush and at first bristles didn't seem soft enough, but... For our 60-lb short-haired dog, it is perfect. She prefers it over the larger brushes because it is small enough to use on her face and ears and under her chin and in areas where her skin folds or around hips, etc. (large brush handle sometimes contacted hip bone, and this is much easier to use). Seems like it will be easy to keep clean. I say, if you have a short-haired dog who loves to be brushed, give it a try.

Having read several guides/reviews on the best type of brush to use on a Yorkshire Terrier puppy I purchased this one and was not disappointed -very good quality pet brush at a reasonable price.

Our new puppy has very thin fur but that doesn't mean that it doesn't get tangled. This brush is the perfect solution as it doesn't scratch her skin and it's small enough to even comb the fur on her face. A lifesaving product.

Cheap & useless item

This little brush is perfect for my chihuahua mix terrier. I definitely recommend it for small breeds!
