FYI: when you open this the box says “Tan AF”. I thought that another parent might like to know that. I kinda thought it was a little inappropriate for my daughter to see but oh well.I have been using this “Tan AF” spray tanning machine for about 3 months to spray my 14 year old before she competes in dance competitions. It has saved me a lot of money because I used to pay to have professional spray tans and the cost of one tan paid for this machine! I have never tried tanning myself so I cannot speak to the difficulty of that but it seems like it would be hard to get it even on many parts of your own body so I would recommend getting another person to spray you.I did use the solution that came with the machine one time and it was ok. Initially it looks green but the green washes off and the tan was pretty nice the next day. The solution that comes with the machine is a pretty small bottle, so got a different solution from another vendor and my daughter likes the color of that one better.There is definitely a learning curve to spray tanning. Here are some tips for using this machine: Use the middle setting (3-4), make up and down sweeps followed by side to side and don’t get too close to the body. Also prep is super important. Take a shower and shave a couple hours before tanning, no lotion, no deodorant and get completely dry. After tanning, do not get near anything wet WATER IS THE ENEMY OF SPRAY TANS.

This product will give you the tan & glow you’re desiring! I’m a ginger so I’m very pale, this product gives me the tan I want without looking too dark. However, I’ve noticed a couple things. The tan doesn’t last more than 2 days. They say reapply every couple days to maintain it but it gets blotchy after 2 days and then reapplying makes it stand out more. I exfoliate, shave, everything before tanning. The second thing I’ve noticed is the spray is much more orange and a different tone than the mousse. You can’t use them together at all, they don’t match. BE CAREFUL USING THE SPRAY! It stains. It took 3 weeks of exfoliation daily, scrubbing and using anything to get it off. I looked like I had a horrible spray tan for weeks. I threw it out, it’s not big enough for your whole body and it’s too orange/dark.

The. Best. Self. Tanner. I always get compliments on my “tan”! No self tanner smell. Very natural color. Easy to apply.

I have super pale skin, always have. I can't get a sun tan for some reason, my skin just won't accept it and I either burn and peel or I just get no tan at all. I have a lot of tattoos so tanning beds are out of the question. I bought this on a whim basically, figuring "why not?" I wasn't expecting much. After the first application after a few hours passed I thought I didn't look that tan and figured it was bogus. Boy was I wrong lmao. I have a beautiful tan now and mt tattoos do not look muddy or washes out either. I am so happy now because I know I can actually have tan skin from now on. Only thing that sucks is now I have to go and buy new foundation because I'm about 4 shades darker than I normally am haha! I love the violet base, I think it definitely helps with that orange tone. I would recommend making absolutely sure you know it's all blended in seamlessly because I did end up with a line underneath my arm that didn't show up until it was fully developed but I just added a small amount to the area around it to help it kind of blend in hopefully. When you rinse it off blot yourself down good with a towel and make sure you don't leave any areas on your body that are dripping because it might cause a line later on. I love this though. I look like I just got back from Florida and I couldn't be happier. Being someone who is very VERY fair skinned I am super happy with the results. The spray is awesome too, kind of wish it had come with a bigger sized bottle of the spray though.

I’ve had a spray tan membership at a salon for a few years now. Thought I’d try to save some $$$ and try it at home. Definitely easy to do with this machine, but not overly impressed with the results. The spray itself is so fine, and half the time I don’t think anything is coming out. I’ve tried adjusting the air flow, but can’t tell a difference. It just turns out really streaky and blotchy because there’s so little solution coming out, you have to be so close to yourself then you can see the lines.Maybe I’m used to an all over, full coverage tan, and this just doesn’t produce the same results. I’m sure it’s fine for someone who isn’t used to spray tanning weekly and having awesome results. For the price, I think it’s decent. But I upgraded the color to a name brand and I like it a lot more than what came with the machine.Also, 30 days isn’t long enough to decide if you’re keeping this. I’m actually shopping for something better.

Gun is good but hard to spray onto self. The solution included is green and sprays green. It’s gross.

As a first time user with any kind of self tan, this stuff is AWESOME! It's also a lot cheaper than other brands that don't even work as well as this. It works great, easy to apply, no streaks. Last a few weeks. Roughly 2 ½ to 3 weeks. It doesn't make you look orange either. I love it.
