If you cant play guitar dont buy it. If you can, understand it's cheap for a reason
It's a bit naff, cant stay in tune, strings awful, scale too short for the tuning. Action is higher than most buildings. But maybe change the strings and chuck a smaller bolt in to reduce the action at the nut and maybe it will improve. Might not i just went and bought a proper CBG instead. But it was cheap and fun. Am giving it away....

Mediocre per imparare
Mediocre non professionale ma per il prezzo e per una prima esperienza va bene, occorre comunque un esperienza di chitarra secondo me

I'm so glad this product even exists
After months of being obsessed with blues music and also while starting to play guitar from zero, one day I suddenly discovered the existence of this "Cigar Box" Guitars. Together with their little brother "Diddley Bow", they looked so interesting to me, although apparently pretty difficult to buy online especially being self-made instruments.Weeks later, while browsing Online Music Shops, I randomly landed into a "Miscellaneous Guitar" section: I got so euphoric when I noticed this CBG (acronym for "Cigar Box Guitar") offered for this incredible low price!I was incredibly happy, already dreaming about me playing the real old blues with a cool CBG, and since I had a great Amazon Giftcard waiting for its opportunity, I placed the all-in searching for this item on Amazon.Could you believe it? YES! Amazon offers this product for the very same price you would pay anywhere else, together with their always amaz-ing service, especially their "Shipped from Amazon", merging the reliable benefits of any Amazon's purchase (such as Refunding etc.) together with the quality work offered by their Warehouses, Couriers and most of all by their employees, probably the very best reason why I love ordering stuff here! As if this wasn't enough, I've been even able to give a special purpose to that Giftcard, which wouldn't have been otherwise possible to use on any other shop around. Now to the product itself:Although its woody-look, the guitar is actually made of pressed paper, which makes it still solid but incredibly light. Its low weight makes it a bit difficult to play, as the guitar would stick to your thumb and come together with your hand while sliding, but practice makes the master! On the other side, being so light makes it easy to carry around for some nights of fun under the open sky in summer.Mounting it isn't that complicated at all (and definitely easier than building a CBG literally from scrap), but the instructions on the manual may not be enough if you never ever stringed any guitar in your life; since I already know the process as I did it for my E-Guitar before, I've been able to properly mount it pretty fast and without even paying much attention to the actual instructions, which are still absolutely useful for any other mounting-tip you may not know (as I didn't, too). Apart from stringing, the rest is pretty easy and absolutely well explained, and if you still have doubts there are few videos online showing the whole process! The guitar comes together with a slide, especially since without it one would neither be able to play it at all, being "fretless". Really appreciated the rest of the manual with playing lessons accompanied by the CD included, delivering instant learning and guaranteed fun for literally everybody. The whole manual itself is a great source of informations, perfect place to start if you never touched a guitar and yet so interesting to read if you still don't know much about the origins of Blues and how Cigar-Box-Guitars contributed to its sound it from the very beginning!Last but not least, the audio output is all what you need if you want the blues and you want it LOUD! Maybe not the best quality out there, but for this humble price you can't literally ask anything more to get started on CBG!Do I really need to write "Recommended"? ;)

Cheap Quality. Great Sound!
I picked this up because my wife wanted to learn how to play the 3-string guitar. I was hesitant at first because it looked cheap in the pictures. The guitar arrived and we unboxed it. It is a cheaply made guitar. The body is thick cardboard, the neck is a solid hardwood, the strings are good and real, it has a cheap $1 piezo pickup. With all that being said, this guitar is actually great! The sound is really good! The tuning is easy, the slide is actually glass. We are very impressed! At worse if the body gets damaged in any way do not throw this item out. The way they designed this guitar makes it a perfect parts guitar. Just go to a cigar shop and buy a cigar box for $3. Use a basic small wood saw and a couple other tools, Watch a YouTube and easily make a solid wood cigar box guitar. I assure you that with very little experience you can use this guitars neck and strings to make a new CBG. You’ll just need to buy a new Piezo pickup, which is sold here on amazon for CHEAP. You can even use a metal cookie tin, lunchbox, etc to convert this into a new guitar.Out of all honesty this is a very good guitar. I give it 5-Stars because of the following. 1) The price is low, which makes it perfect for people on a budget. 2) The quality is low, but again of the body breaks you can easily rebuild it better. 3) The sound is good. 4) Perfect for any beginners that are wanting to learn the 3-String Guitar. 5) Has a great look that sets the owner apart from other cheap made guitars.
