The winner in a side by side comparison
I got this and the Bully Grip Holder to compare. My 1yr 9mo Borzoi has been enjoying bully sticks responsibly since he was 9 weeks old and 19 lbs (ah the good old days of buying 12 inch sticks!). He's now almost 100 lbs and requires 36 inch bully sticks. I used to take away end pieces that were about 3-4 inches in length but after watching him carefully chew and consume some end stubs I was less concerned and allowed him to do so under supervision. I decided to try these products to see if they worked at all. This product is very easy to use and plenty roomy to insert the widest bully stick, even one frayed/flattened by already been started being chewed. There is no odor, it seems decently made, though I feel like if it's frigidly cold out I don't want my dog clunking it down on pavement or it could crack. It screws in securely, but as it's entirely plastic, I expect eventually it will wear/strip a bit, but so far we are many months in and it works great. The Bully Grip holder was impossible to insert a bully stick in that had already been started/chewed, even if I tried to freshen the end with scissors. It was an exhausting ordeal to try and fit the sticks in, but the size description matched the size/diameter sticks I'm using. I am unsure if a larger size is available and if it would be snug or loose but I definitely am not about to buy multiple sizes of them to try and get one that fits. The Bully Buddy is bigger/clunkier but weighs less than the Bully Grip. It doesn't feel as solid/well made and is plastic-y and not mean to get accidentally gnawed on like the Bully Grip probably could be, but it's so much easier to fit in ANY size bully stick and seems to hold them really secure. I always put both options out for my dog together and he ALWAYS went for this one first. In fact, he had gone through about 9 bully sticks in the Bully Buddy before I took it away and he eventually used up the one in the Bully Grip. The ease of use makes this one the winner for me.Please note, both will give you a bruise and an egg on your forehead if you dog is laying next to you on the couch and swings the device end at you.

Keep my dogs safe!
I have purchased one of these for each of my 3 dogs. They work perfectly and fit many sizes of bully sticks. Keeps me from worrying about my dogs choking on the end piece of the bully stick and they like to be able to hold down the holder with their paws while they chew.

Added safety
XL for standard poodleS for miniature poodleWe just began giving our dogs collagen chews for dental reasons. The first two times our standard Poodle got to the end of the bone he gobbled and swallowed it whole, then began to whimper. š¤Æš The first time we thought it was a fluke but when he did it again we decided no more bones until we figure something out. When we learned about this device it was a no brainer! Not only does this lessen the chance of him gobbling down the end piece I believe it has taught him how to chew⦠I know that sounds funny but itās as though he understands what to do now, chew!Weāve tried two bones. The large braided collagen chew (about 12ā, first pic) and put it through the device so it sticks out on both ends. We put the small standard collagen chew (about 7ā, second pic) in it so it sticks out only on one end.In the case of small chew, when he gets to the end heās basically able to yank it out. To be fair, heās a strong boy (currently 93 lbs). I remained calm and observed him. He kept chewing. Looked like a giant glob of bubblegum as he was chewing it around in his mouth. While he eventually swallowed it, he had gotten it soft/smushed enough so that there were no issues, no whimpering. As the device states, this is not a chew toy. So you have to take it away when your dogs are done the bone. When our standard was trying to get to the little piece left, he turned the device and started biting it lol as if he was going to get to that piece in some way! He did cause bite marks in it but I donāt think it ruined it or posed any threat. If your dog chews on the device itself itāll create little dents/ridges in the plastic thatās may be sharp-ish. Because we were supervising we were able to stop him and take it from him. But just something to consider. *If overtime he puts sharp nicks in it, Iāll toss and buy another one. Itās worth it. I cannot see this being an issue for smaller dogs as the device is pretty solid. The last pic is of our miniature poodle, we give him the small collagen bones mentioned above. One bone lasts two days. Once he gets down to the little piece lodged in the middle of the device heās pretty much tired and walks away.I do recommend this device. But as the company acknowledges, it does not replace supervision.

Expensive but good
I found this to be quite expensive, and found that the smaller holders work just as well, but the dogs can put their paws to either side with the bone inside. Itās pretty firmly in placeā¦

Absolutely love this bully stick holder for dogs!
Highly recommend this Bow Wow stick, purchased these sticks for two black labs and they are fabulous! Purchased the small bow wow for the 7 month old lab and a medium bow wow for the two year old lab. Both of these labs love their chew time and not once has the bully stick come loose.

Why did I wait so long to buy this?!!
I have been looking at this for so long but hesitated due to the high price point. But wow! My miniature poodle loves it! at first, she thought the holder was a toy (and I guess it could be lol) but soon enough she figured it out and off she went to chew her bully stick! The size I choose based on the chart matches perfectly!
