Bought this to replace an older version that stopped working and so far, this has worked like a charm. Here in Southern CA, there is a lot of dust and grit that makes it to the bottom of the pool and this handles the mess quite well, and handles the curved walls without a problem.

I bought this as a replacement. HAYWARD is a standard in the pool world. It's a bit expensive, but i am confident it works!
