215 Gear Operator GPS Pouch

I finally unboxed it and used it with my Garmin 601. I used the wrist pin to secure the GPS directly to the Gear 215.1. Velcro strip is on the wrong side or mine is missing one. There is no velcro strip to match with the other. Hence, my Garmin 601 drops out of the pouch and hangs by the wrist pin. I will need to substantially modify this pouch so that it is useful. I will have to sew a velcro strip on it.2 Additionally, there should be another small strap to take the wrist pin that is inside the pouch. I will need to add this. The strap for the wrist that goes around my wrist is excellent. I wasted 35+ USD on this. It is not worth it.

I am giving this pouch 5 stars because the build quality appears to be above par, and it does exactly what it says it will do.For anyone reading this that wishes to mount it to molle webbing as you would be able to do with the stock 401/601 strap, it is possible only if you fold the band with velcro in half and work it through. I tried to mount it on my molle webbing and the stiching where the elastic is sewn to the pouch does not look like it would last too long if you are doing anything but hanging your kit on a rack.I am not knocking the product. I had a plan of mounting my 601 on my gear 75% of the time so I always have it with and wearing it the other 25%. Of the time. As stated in the description, this will mount on your wrist /forearm and on the sop/mod buttstock.If you are looking to protect your 601 from getting scratched and banged up, this is likely the best case out there.Kudos to 215 Gear for putting out a quality product and thanks for the sticker that ya’ll sent out.

I lost my first Garmin Foretrex taking off in a paramotor. The original hook and pile tape OEM strap would always loosen or come completely off when getting in and out of the shoulder straps.This Garmin wrist carrier has wiggle room for things like lines and straps to twist it and move on without pulling it off.The strap is twice as wide as the original which makes it comfortable. It is also long enough that I can put it over a puffy jacket sleeve.Took it to a mile high this morning.

This is definitely made for 601/701 garmin foretrexI’ve tried one before that was made for the 401, which is smallerMy 701Fit well and buttons are all stillEasy to accessAnd to add, the cover is completely removable which is excellent !!!

A perfect fit for my Garmin Foretrex! I like that the case fully encapsulates my Foretrex GPS with a protective plastic sheet over the screen to prevent scratches. This strap should have come standard with the GPS instead of the cheap nylon strap that Garmin includes.

I used for several weeks nonstop ,OK easy to read versatile I would definitely recommend this item

it amazes me that several products just like this one has the word for word review. Are you saying that these people bought all these products and they had the exact same issue/ view of them? Something doesn't appear correct here.
