Product description Note: The Raspberry Pi 5 or TF card is not included in the packing list. Overview This is a heavy-duty Raspberry Pi 5 aluminum passive cooling case, which is specially designed for the Raspberry Pi 5 1GB/2GB/4GB/8GB/16GB, it is compatible with the latest Raspberry Pi 5 computer. It is the upgraded version from the Raspberry Pi 4 Case P173. Features Model: P573 Color: black Compatible with Raspberry Pi 5 2GB/4GB/8GB/16GB motherboard only With power button, easy to power on/off Designed exclusively for Raspberry Pi 5; does not support any other expansion boards Design with good heat dissipation Passive cooling design, don't need to install the cooling fan Constructed out of high-quality aluminum material Easy access to all ports of Raspberry Pi 5 Easy to install and insert the micro SD card GPIO cable interface is reservered, support to install the GPIO cable Packing List 1 x Aluminum Case for Raspberry Pi 5(black) 1 x Screws Pack accessories Review: Very nice. - Fit and finish are great. Keeps the Pi 5 nice and cool, and most of all, quiet. Review: Chonky case that keeps cool under pressure - I have 2 of these. One sits between my switch and router. Minimal airflow. Light loads, averages ~32-35c. Heavier loads I've seen it hit mid to upper 40's. Second sits on my desk, is overclocked, and I've been fooling around with multiple programs and images. Averages about the same (slightly lower due to a fan that blows across where it sits) and the max I've seen it hit was 64c after about an hour fully chugging. Pros: Keeps it cool, even under heavy loads, and when set to higher clock speeds. $14 block of metal, nicely painted in black, with no silly fans to make noise. Does well at spreading the heat so that the case itself doesn't get too "hot". Neutral: It is -completely- painted. This maybe a negative if you really care about a thin layer of paint where the thermal pads meet with the case making your Pi run an extra degree hotter. Minimal access to internal connectors. There are slots cut out for the PCIE/GPOI, but I am unsure how useful these actually are. (I'm not using either) Unsure about the Display/Camera connector connectivity, but if the flex cables are long enough I'm sure some guided routing could be done. Potential Wi-Fi/BT connectivity issues depending on surrounding signals/solar flares/planetary alignment. I can't comment on the Wi-Fi, but BT seems to work fine from ~6 or so feet away. Your cable, depending on how thick the molding is around the connector, might not fully fit into the right (HDMI0?) port. My cable still works fine, but isn't completely seated. Cons: I dropped it and a bit of paint chipped. I guess that's a con maybe? A solid, cost effective, and silent case if that's all you're looking for.

Impressive! I would buy this again.
I'm glad I chose this over the Flirc. It's hefty, well constructed, and was fun to put together. Power button lights up and works fine. Comes with extra thermal pads. The kit comes with two options for CPU cooling: a thermal pad (novice) or a copper shim with thermal paste (advanced).

Works as expected
Easy install and did reduce temps a little. Will buy this brand again now that I know the pricing isnโt too good to be true.

Built like a tank, keeps cool under normal usage
I'm a big fan of these cases. I used a couple on some Raspberry Pi 4Bs. They keep everything cool without needing to worry about noise, vibration, or fan failure. I was excited to try it out on the Pi 5. It didn't disappoint. Running a Plex server, temperatures stay around 40-45 C. The shutdown button is just a small piece of plastic that presses on the Pi button from outside the case. It isn't very tactile and was binding up at first, but got better after it was broken in a little, so I took off one star for that. The button is translucent so you can see the power LED through the button. The copper shim that is machined to fit the processor profile, which gives better heat transfer. NOTE: the case is basically a solid block of aluminum, so wifi signal will be weak and unreliable. Use this case only with a wired (ethernet) connection! No access to GPIO pins, if that matters to you.
