I have a Smittybilt 2781 that used to live in the trunk. That thing took up a lot of real estate, and Wrangler owners know space is at a premium, especially for overlanders. The Refuge resolved that issue by moving the compressor to a space that is normally too awkward to be used as storage space.The product photo makes it look like it's a two-piece construction. It is most certainly not. Mounting the compressor to the Refuge was a little awkward given the two struts sticking out, and I got around that by putting it on the corner of the box it shipped in to make it stand upright as I mounted the compressor on it.It does not include any hardware. You'll need to harvest all the bolts, nuts, washers, spacers and rubber isolators that are already used for to mate the compressor to the plate. I do recommend getting M6-1.0x25mm or M6-1.0x30mm flange bolts and nylon locking nuts from your local hardware store as the ones that came with your compressor may be a little too short since the Refuge uses ever-so-slightly thicker metal. After everything is done, the entire assembly is secured into place using two hard top bolts.Wiring the compressor is another matter, but that was accomplished using some 6AWG cables and Anderson connectors.
