My heater is very nice and just right size. I usually just use one bar as just nice heat 2 bars is quite hot. Very light to carry. Also has a bit on bottom where heater goes off if knocked over. Plug was on when came so didn't need to attach the plug and cable . Easy to put on and has a stand. Very good quality would recommend to others.

I love these halogen heaters because there is no bright glare. I only have one bar on at a time when I’m sitting knitting and it’s warm enough. I looked up the cost for a 400w tube and it’s 12p an hour. I bought 2 in case they sell out.

16 days it lasted, being used occasionally as a backup heater on a timer for 3 x one hour intervals, only actually on 5 or 6 days during a recent cold snap.Today I noticed the bottom 400w bar had already failed. This is the only one I have used.Checked to see if I put it on the full 2 bar 800w setting if anything happened and yes, the top bar still works (as shown in attached photo).For how long, who knows?Seemed too good to be true and it is.Too much faff to return. Will just have to take the £13 hit.Shame, because it is a dinky design and did it's job, all be it for not very long.Do not recommend.

The fire is good just what we needed but unfortunately it came with a broken foot my husband managed to fix it with glue as the photo shows otherwise ok heat output good .

Very reasonably priced and economical to run.Unfortunately one bar stopped working after a couple of months.
