Avoca Cafe Cookbook

I had pastries and coffee at the store in Moll's Gap, which is a beautifully merchandised store, in addition to having a delicious cafe. All the foods displayed in the cases were so tantalizing I bought both of their books so I could prepare them when I returned home. The recipes are easy to follow and absolutely delicious. They are interesting enough to challenge you, but not difficult, and must be well tested as all my attempts have been successful. My husband is not a big vegetable fan, but he loves the dishes I have made from these books. They smell fantastic and have a lot of eye appeal.

So far, I have tried only a couple of the breads, and the scones... they have turned out perfectly, and I can't wait to get started on the soups & other recipes. It's not your run of the mill cookbook, and that's what I adore about it. The bread recipes may call for a bit less liquid than stated in the book (which gives you a range anyway)... I'd recommend not putting all the liquid ingredients in at once.

I love this cookbook. Has all the great food we ate while in Ireland along with the neat story of the mills. It is down to earth good food. A great memory of my trip.

Love this book. Easy to follow recipes.Full disclosure I am pictured in this as I worked there as a teen :) I miss all the food there so much so now I make it at home. The food is freaking AMAZEBALLS! Try it out!

Having been to Ireland and eaten at several Avoca cafes I couldn't wait to try the recipes from their cookbook. Our favorites are the soups, but everything we have tried so far has been great! Just remember to convert the measurements once you are back in the states.

Great photos and recipes that are simple but outside our family's go-to meals. Lots of breads and things that are fun and easy to make with kids. We are really enjoying this cookbook.

I have only tried the fish pie recipe and it was outstanding! I have tried to make fish pie so many times and was convinced I was just no good at it but this one was amazing!

Endlich hab ich die wundervollen AVOCA-Rezepte zu Hause :-)In diesem Buch steckt viel liebevolle Mühe :-)Die Rezepte sind absolut einfach erklärt, und man muss keine Mengenangaben umrechnen, da beide Versionen aufgeführt sind :-)Zusätzlich sind ganz hinten sogar noch Hilfestellungen aufgeführt :-)

The book was Not in good condition. It was disgusting, i will probably have to thwow it away or use it wearing gloves

アイルランドでグルメたちを唸らせるAvoca Cafeの料理本。サラダやスープ、そしてスイーツやパンが美味しいお店。あの味を日本でも再現したくて買いました。ずっと食べたいと思っていたメニューの数々が、シンプルなレシピでとっても簡単に再現できます。どれも、とても美味しい！難を言えば、写真が少ないのでイメージしながら作ることになりますが、でもレシピ自体がどれもとっても簡単なので失敗しづらいというか、適当に作っても美味しくできます(笑)普段は敷居の高いパン作りも、ベーキングソーダやベーキングパウダーを使ったものが多くて、とても簡単に美味しいパンが焼けて嬉しいです。買ってからずっとフル活用しています。
