This in my opinion is the perfect travel mate. Especially if your laptop does not have many ports, as some of the newer devices have fewer ports. The screen showing what is plug in and working is an added bonus, for any techie person.

It's a great type c hub but not if you only have one type c port. The other type c doesn't support data transfer only power delivery & the other type c is plugged into the laptop. Would be nice to see at lest one more type-c to make up for the one I lost. Over its pretty cool. But save you're money

If your looking for the best USB C hub look no further, Sure, Its expensive, but its very high quality.

Some of the ports are no longer working. It is expensive relative to other products. I thought it was sturdy but I am wrong, it is not.

pros customer service is quick to respond. device is sleek looking. lots of ports. cons two defective units is a row. idk if this is someone at amazon just shipping out returned defective devices. or the quality control at dockcase is just gone down hill. two defective devices in a row is too much of a coincidence. especially for the price of these hubs and docks. no excuse that these shouldn't be 100% quality controlled and 100% compatible with all devices in terms of microsd card and usb support. I don't expect hdmi or desplay port to be 100%% as alot of manufacturers like to do things differently on some tv's, monitors, and handheld devices. but usb and microsd are a industry standard protocol. Electrically both these devices were defects. you shouldn't need to power the hub to use the microsd card slots. 1st device they didn't even show up. 2nd device wouldn't show the microsd unless I plugged a pd device into the "computer connection port" and the data cable going to the computer into what is supposed to be the pd port. and even then the microsd did not show up in windows or on and of my devices. I think someone soldered in a chip or some diodes wrong at the factory. as the pd port and to device ports are clearly labeled in the manual. I have a dockcase 9in1 and all my usb, microsd, and other devices work just fine with that one. and they all show up in windows. idk what is going on at dockcase but when this 9in1 dies I won't be buying from them again. not a great way to keep customers.

DTo get it out of the way, I. had a 7 in one Dockcase that overheated and wiped one of my micro sd card. the sad part about it is I had it for two years and it always got that hot. I had no hope in the docks but I had an emergency and this one had good reviews. It said that this one never gets that hot. I ordered one and I am happy to say it indeed stays relatively warm. I did plug in an older lightning cable and it started to short circuit the GoPro 13 I had plugged into it. I don't know why the dock case started to reset itself the minute these two things were plugged in together. It runs pretty good otherwise. Though the whole experience®hence makes me nervous about purchasing again. It's light weight. My other Dockcase was heavy for a 7 in 1. The upload speeds are a loiitt le quicker when going form ssd drive to micro sd. It took less time when paired with my Samsung laptop. I can't belie√' how cool this thing stays. It stays cooler than my anker 7-1 usb hub. The Anker is also heavier and had the same dangerous reputation of erasing cards and short. circuiting computers. I'm glad I don't have to use that one either. One star off for that little malfunction in the beginning.
