Inexpensive but heavy duty. TAKES SOME EFFORT TO MAKE IT USABLE
If you have any mechanical ability you will make this work no problem. It's worth a little bit of effort for how inexpensive yet sturdy it is. The parts have a very quality finish and are made of sturdy materials that will not bend or break. What's cool and isn't really addressed in the description is that when the brake is locked, two holes align between the mounting bracket and locking arm. You can put a padlock in this hole as a quick anti-theft measure.Comes unassembled. Probably for a reason. Like everyone else mentions Yes you need to drill a new hole in the red lever for the spring to work correctly. I also had to file the red lever around the curve where it is close to the back mounting bracket to get it to swing it's whole range of motion without binding. After a little bit of tweaking it, it works smoothly and snaps back with no issues.

It works fine but...
I liked everything but the spring. It was about 1/8" too long. (It simply will not work being that length!)You'll either need to drill another hole or buy shorter spring to fix the problem. I'm shocked that manufacturer doesn't realize this. It would be simple for them just to put in a shorter spring. It will not spring back out of the way if this correction is not made. Then the rating would be 5 star I think. I just drilled another hole because I have the tools. (You'll need a drill press or hand drill, steel drill bits - about 3/16" , 13 mm socket, adjustable wrench and socket extension). Also, there are no assembly instructions for the hardware. (It can be a little confusing perhaps). I'll try to explain the procedure because I'm too lazy to draw a picture. (1) First slide a washer onto the bolt, it is 1 of the 2 smaller washers. (2) Insert into the bracket. (3) Insert the bolt collar (assuring that collar is slid back against the first smaller washer. This bolt collar assures that the bolt will not wobble during use. (4) Slide the large washer onto (ie over) the collar. (5) Slide the remaining small washer against the large washer (6) Finally install the nut and tighten. Don't tighten nut too much because the spring won't be strong enough to retract the brake lock out of the way. Hope this is clear enough. Just try it, you will understand what I am explaining. When I got it out of the box and dry fit it, I could'nt understand how it would work. But I was looking at the wrong area of the fire wall. The two nuts that need to be remove, are 2 of the 4 nuts on the firewall under the brake pedal. After locating these 2 nuts I could see how that it was designed.I'm pleased with this purchase, and it was easy to attach to my 2010 RZR Polaris 800 SBS. It works very well. The manufacturer should have just assembled it before they shipped it. Oh well...

Bursted my brake line!!
It fits fine but the hook is not long enough for my application. 2014 Rzr S 800. You have to push down on the brake so hard that it burst my stainless steel braided brake lines! So now a cheap little mod has turned into a bigger job and hopefully the brake line shows up in time before the trip I have planned.

Don’t fit
Says it will fit a 2010 Polaris Ranger 800xp. They did not fit. Sent them back and they gave me my money back.
