Needed to be properly reassembled, but..
The item was not carefully assembled, the LED meter was not properly seated and the 3 post screws which hold the unit together where in the wrong direction and barely tightened. After disassembling the unit and reassembling it properly it now feels solid, no rattles and the LED meter is straight. It comes with a sketchy 15Vac 600mA power transformer which get too hot in my opinion so I've replaced it with a better quality 15Vac 1800mA, I already had in my closet.I've also replaced the opamp with a Burson V5i and the tubes with a pair of NOS Valvo EC81.To be noted that the input source must be turned down in volume because the low voltage tubes have very limited headroom, by doing so the unit will sound like it should and gives some "tubey" character to the sound, which is noticeable and very pleasant to my ears.Besides these little issues I must say I'm really enjoying it, it has very low noise floor, the volume pot it's buttery smooth and the LED meters (after meticulous speed calibration) they looks amazing. The stock unit sounds good enough for casual listening, but after upgrading opamp, tubes and power transformer, the sound is not bad at all, to the point I'm using it for my late night listening sessions.

Great amp
I really like this amp, I'm driving beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 ohms and it sounds wicked. The output is maybe not as loud as I might like it but the clarity is fantastic. The sound staging is very good, I'm hearing old songs in a new light! The vu meter is also very cool!

Proper tubey sound on budget
Proper tubey sound on budget. Warmer sound and echo/reverb caused by the double tube configuration. Immence fun listening to.
