Deep brown mulch dye is perfect for updating the look of my front yard, which has areas of ground cover that weather and fade during the winter months. All you have to do is spray for an even coverage. No mixing, no mess.

I live in Florida, beloved by termites. So though my HOA requires that I mulch my yard, I don't like to put anything wood directly up against my house, because it attracts the insects. Instead, I used eucalyptus mulch against the house, and regular brown shredded bark in the beds about a foot away. Problem is, the eucalyptus mulch is a blonde color, and clashes with the brown. But this mulch dye colored it and effectively blended the two types together. Only downside is, this mulch dye is expensive, and doesn't go very far.

The product itself is very good but the sprayer was not. I just kind of drilled out in a stream so it made it very hard to spray a large surface area. Consequently we ended up having to use two jugs to cover our front yard and it ended up costing us more than mulch. But the sprayer did more of a spray than a straight dribble he stream it would’ve been much easier to cover the surface area, rather than having some parts oversaturated and some parts under saturated.

I was hoping the color would be a rich deep brown, but instead this is a bright reddish brown and the coverage is poor. Moreover, the power wand is ridiculously inefficient. They batteries that came with the product literally lasted 5 minutes, which is about how much time it took to spray half the container. I installed two new batteries, and the sprayer drained those batteries in 5 more minutes. I will not buy this again.

Easy to use, but Color didn't absorb as expected.

This is the greatest product every made. Used to buy mega bags of Red mulch 24 plus every spring. By the time summer arrived my mulch looked terrible. Found this product by accident, bought one jug of Red. OMG my mulched area’s looked fresh and almost brand new. Also, we have had a harsh winter on a sunny nice day I sprayed my mulch. Everything looked fresh and beautiful. I can’t say enough good things about this product. You won’t be sorry and you’ll love not sweating. 5 Stars plus. Also, at this time Amazon sells it for less money then Lowes and Home Depot plus you can’t buy it from the big box stores in the winter. Maybe in 4 years you may need to top dress your mulch.

This product worked great for me. I was concerned at first about the color. It did come out a little bright at first so I did a test spot and let it dry. It looked fine. I will be purchasing this product again. Easy to use. Very satisfied

Color was okay but it doesn’t cover much, even with two light coats it looks faded. The sprayer died twice and went through 8 AA batteries in an hour which is nuts. We will be buying a concentrate from another brand to try.
