Best carry everyday carry as refrigeration technician
Best addition to my daily carry tools. Torque is strong use it as a refrigeration technician. Battery life lasts all week and longer durability and feel is good quality. Fit is perfect and good price. Recommended for my coworkers to bad Iโm not Amazon affiliated since they bought it too lol.

Best Laptop and Desktop repair screwdriver hands-down
This is the best screwdriver for computer repair, both laptop and desktop. This is my main electric screwdriver for repairing Chromebooks, and the adjustable speed and ability to use different tips really comes in handy when quickly repairing devices. The battery lasts a really long time and the USB-C connection is a great touch, since that means one less proprietary wire that I need to remember to keep. Very torquey and overall an amazing product. Cannot recommend enough.

Big upgrade in a small package
After wanting a electric screwdriver that's less bulky than my usual drill/driver, for precision work and tight spaces, I bought a Ryobi 4V unit (FVD01) for about $25. And is it pretty good. This Vessel electrical screwdriver is better in almost every way, the exception of course being the price. So what is better for the extra $20? Its smaller, lighter and more ergonomic so it works better in tight spaces and the proved bit it longer for better reach (although bits are interchangeable with both via a 1/4" hex chuck, so that a very small advantage). The Vessel chuck is close-fitting and locking via a sliding collar, the Ryobi has a looser fitting, push in chuck with magnetic retention. I prefer the Vessel for bit security and the tighter tolerances resulting in less slop in mechanism and so the driver tip doesn't flop around, which is important when starting screws. It takes I suppose a little bit longer to swap bits, since you have to slide to the collar forward to release the bit with the Vessel, but you can slide the collar and remove the bit in one hand movement, so the difference is negligible for me. The real difference is the adjustable speed/torque setting on the Vessel, meaning I can adjust the tool to the job; the Ryobi is one speed, one torque. Top end speed for the Ryobi is about the same as the lowest speed for the Vessel. At the top end speed, I've used hex end drill bits in the Vessel for drilling plastic, so this unit can double as a light duty drill under the right circumstances. The slower speed and sloppier chuck makes this idea impractical for the Ryobi. No cutout clutch on either unit, but I'm not sure you could fit one as they are both quite small and it would also no doubt raise the price. Torque ratings for the Vessel are 1.2, 1.6 and 2 Nm for the fast, medium and slow speed and 12 Nm if you use it as a manual screwdriver. Torque rating for the Ryobi aren't listed on the website or manual. Both use a two position switch to run the driver. The Ryobi has a rubber covered, rocker style switch, the Vessel is a semi-recessed sliding switch. Both work the same way, chose the button side towards the work to drive screws in, away to drive screws out. The slight recessed nature of the Vessel switch had me a bit annoyed at first, it seemed hard to get to. But in use, the switch slides easily and works fine. I suspect the Ryobi would handle dust and moisture better with the rubber cover, but I haven't had either unit long enough for switch life to be a concern, so I don't know if my intuition is accurate. The ergonomics of the Vessel also work well here, if you grip the tool the way that feels natural, your thumb falls right on the switch, so you don't have to make any grip adjustments to activate the switch. If you have larger or smaller hands than me, I guess that might not be the case, but I'm a pretty average sized guy. The Vessel is USB-C charging, the Ryobi USB micro, if that matters to you. I'm trying to move over to a completely USB-C household, so I liked this feature. I haven't run either unit down to a flat battery, so I can't speak to relative charging times and battery capacity info for either is hard to find. Claimed charge time on the Vessel is 60 mins. Is it worth the 80% premium in price over the Ryobi? For me it is. Its easier to use, more flexible in operation and clearly more solidly built. I'll probably still keep the Ryobi as a back-up, since it works fine and still does a pretty good job, but I'll reach for the Vessel for preference.

Well built small controls
I bought this 3 speed electric screwdriver to replace my Rolgear ratchet screwdriver that i like but long threads and jobs with many fasteners would have me trying to use my m12 impact in places it doesn't really fit PROS: you can tell it's quality, nice solid plastic and rubber like you would get from a larger power tool. i like that the light stays on for a few seconds after you actuate it and the USB-c charging ports has a nice thick cover. It has enough power to work on clean hand tool sized fasteners but if its stuck you have a comfortable grip to manually loosen then run the threads out kind of like an electric ratchet, the tool is built to be used that way. The tool is very compact not really any bigger than a normal screw driver. I was worried it might be prone to rolling but the controls stick out enough to catch even with the 3 inch bit installed CONS: The slide controls are a little small and too far from the front in my opinion, I find it a bit awkward to actuate in both a standard and palm grip with my fingers naturally resting much further towards the front. I wear L gloves if you wear XL gloves or bigger you might want to avoid this tool. I have a much larger 3.6 volt hitachi screwdriver DB3DL2 i love for disassembly that has a rocker style switch i much prefer. The triple mode sellection is a nice option to have but the power difference between the lowest and highest is so close that the middle options is just in the way. This tool has real power limitations a small pre drilled furniture screw is about the limit. also for the price ($50 shipped) i would really like to have an assortment of bits like what comes with the more basic models. OTHER THOUGHTS: Overall I like the tool as a compact upgrade to a ratcheting screwdriver don't expect it to do much more than that. No strong opinions on the ball grip it might facilitate a bit more torque than if it was slim all the way down. bits do slop forward and back quite a bit but it doesn't impact the usability for me. i would rate it 5 stars but it is quite pricey for a little single cell tool and there are much more affordable options with more power albeit bulkier.

Great tool
This is a great electric screwdriver. I like the form and function better than my Demel/Bosch dielectric driver. The Dremel does have more torque though. The Vessel tops out at about 7 in/lbs and the Dremel does about 15 in/lbs. Itโs best for screwing bolts into threaded parts, not for screws into wood. One thing to note is that it is made to use 1/4โ Japanese style bits. The locking collar will accept normal bits, but there will be approx. 5-6mm of back and forth play. The Japanese bits have about 13mm of locking section on the back of the bits while the regular bits only have 6mm. My solution to this was to this was to cut a 6mm section from 7/32โ steel rod. The 6mm plug drops into the bit collar and any regular style bit sits on top of it. This eliminates the slop. I also use a WERA RAPIDAPTOR bit holder with my 6mm plug with the tool. The Rapidaptor allows me to use any of my short bits in hex, torx, etc with the tool. Surprisingly, the Rapidaptor hold regular ANDJapanese bits securely with no slop! ***UPDATE*** Iโve had this driver since 2/24 and still like it for light duty driving. I as switching out a bit today and the new bit wouldnโt stay locked in place?!?! After my initial panic, I realized that the red plastic ring below the bit locking collar had moved up about 1/8โ and was keeping the locking collar from fully seating. I pushed it back in place and all was well!

Best Precision Screwdriver โ A Game Changer!
The Vessel Electric Ball Grip Screwdriver is hands down one of the best tools Iโve ever added to my kit. The ergonomic design makes it incredibly comfortable to hold, and the electric assist takes the strain out of repetitive tasks while still allowing for manual precision when needed. The build quality is solid, and the torque control is perfect for delicate electronics, ensuring you donโt over-tighten screws. The battery life is impressive, lasting through multiple projects without needing a recharge. This screwdriver has completely changed the way I work on small electronics and household repairs. If you're looking for a high-quality, reliable, and efficient electric screwdriver, this is the one. Highly recommend!

Good quality tool. A joy to use.
High quality build. Natural and comfortable fit for hand. The two slower speeds are most practical for tipical day to day use. Higher speed would be useful when working on projects with a lot of repetitive fasteners. My main use is for residential electrical switches, outlets, and light fixtures. Also very helpful when working on computers and other electronics. Some have commented that American made bits fit loosely due to the shorter base on the bits. My experience with a set of Kline bits I already had, is that when you insert the bit to where it bottoms out, then lift it back about 1/4 inch to where it locks in, it is held solidly, with no more play than the Japanese bits.

Great tool but died way too soon.
Lasted about 8 months before it stopped working. But I loved it. Great grip and torque, it had decent battery life and I used it everyday at work. It was a real let down when it just died on me. I reached out to customer support since it should still be under warranty, but that ended up going no where. Hopefully yours lasts longer.

A Real Shame.
I really liked this when it worked, it's a good size powerful enough for sockets and socket screws, looks nice, good battery life, but after only a handful of charges and a couple months of moderate use the bit holder part is breaking and the torque is after falling off.

Just one tiny issue
This is a great item from Vessel. The fact that they have squeezed an electric motor, battery and speed controller into such a small package is remarkable. It works very well but there is one small niggle. This model is actually the Japanese variant and as such accepts bits with a 13 mm protrusion into the bit holder. This means that the supplied bit does not fit european screwdriver bit holders properly and european bits with the usual 6 mm or thereabouts extension are a sloppy fit in the bit holder. This can be remedied by purchasing a small insert (Makita I think) that fits onto the bit holder to take up the slack. I have though bought some more Vessel bits, Japanese spec, and they fit perfectly. I believe there is a european variant of this model somewhere. Just be aware that this particular model is intended for the Japanese market. It is very good though.

This will imrove your productivity and mindset
This is the best tool I've bought in years. Rugged, good battery life and 3 torque setting. It has saved me so much time on control panels. Add a 1/4" drive or allen key drives to expand its versatility.
