Unsure about this product? Read this review first!!
Itโs been a little over 2 weeks since i have used this product. I live in a small apartment and just recently had an infestation in the kitchen. An even more disgusting part was that the infestation was behind the fridge on the medal cord/plug that keeps the fridge running. All the roaches were crawling over it as it generates heat to keep the power running for my fridge. The roaches would come out mostly at night when the lights were off. They were mostly on the ground and a handful scattered on my countertops. It got to the point where if i left food out on my countertops for about 30mins or longer, i would find a few roaches making their way to it. I also had to start tying up my trash bag bc they found their way into the bin bc of the scraps of food inside. I was super unsure if this product would work bc of mixed reviews but Iโm here to say, this product did its job! I am VERY VERY impressed. I applied this product behind all of my appliances (stove, washer, dryer and fridge) and on the ground underneath the sink/countertops. There were lots of reviews saying they had problems with the bottle itself and how it would clog up or not disperse the product evenly but it was fine with me. you just had to tilt the bottle down so the powder moves closer to the nozzle then after open it, just slightly squeeze the bottle so the powder puffs out lightly onto where you want it. Do not point the bottle straight down but hold it at horizontal with the nozzle slightly downwards. i would recommend to start with a light dusting then go back over that area again and try your best to not just dump a big pile of powder in one area. Keep the application nice and light but still visible to your eye so you can see where itโs applied but not as big clump of powder bc the roaches will just avoid it as oppose to walking through it (which is ideal). When you have applied it to where you mostly see roaches go through or hide, just be patient with the results. i did my research and it said typically with boraic acid youโll see a difference within 3 days and thatโs partially true. i saw the roaches getting weaker around 3-5 days later once i had applied the powder but noticed an even bigger difference within a little over a week. the difference i saw was that the roaches that came out were very weak, crawling very slow on the ground and many would flip over and eventually die. Whenever i saw a roach crawling on the ground, i immediately grabbed the bottle of powder and puffed a hefty amount over the roach bc they will eventually run back to their nest with it. but if i saw one that was alive and flipped over on its back i still put the powder on it just to see how long the acid took to kill it. From my observation, it was about 2-3 days. As i did this, i made sure to have no water or food source available to the roaches everyday by cleaning up the kitchen and it has been a world of a difference. I am updating this right now, and I donโt want to say that this has permanently eliminated the infestation but it has significantly reduced it. I have not seen my kitchen floor with multiple roaches running around at night anymore but i do see one or two roaches in random spots. Iโll take that over the infestation i had a couple weeks ago any day! What made me completely surprised was when i checked behind my fridge, there wasnโt a single roach that was chilling on that metal cord!!!! I will continue to reapply this product once every month to make sure it keeps the roaches away. i hope this review makes you believe this product does work, just be patient and apply it correctly.

Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder Roach & Ant Killer - (2-Pack) 16 oz - Easy to Spread Ant and Cockroach Killer Indoor Home I've been using the Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder Roach & Ant Killer for a while now, and I must say it's been a game-changer in dealing with pesky roaches and ants around my home. This product is incredibly easy to use, and its effectiveness is quite impressive. One thing that sets this product apart is its ease of application. The powder is finely milled, making it simple to spread around the areas where you've noticed insect activity. I didn't have to worry about making a mess, and it adhered well to surfaces. What's great about this 2-pack is that it provides you with enough product to tackle multiple problem areas or use it over time. It's a cost-effective solution for long-term pest control. I appreciate that this roach and ant killer is safe for indoor use, so I didn't have to evacuate my home during treatment. Plus, it's odorless, which is a huge plus for me. I didn't have to deal with any unpleasant chemical smells while using it. In terms of effectiveness, the Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder really delivered. Over a few weeks, I noticed a significant reduction in the number of roaches and ants in my home. It's a relief to finally have a product that works as advertised. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Zap-A-Roach Boric Acid Powder Roach & Ant Killer. It's easy to use, cost-effective, safe for indoor use, and, most importantly, it gets the job done effectively. Say goodbye to those unwanted guests in your home with this fantastic product!

Works super... A few weeks, quite effective as part of a treatment.
This review is for 2 pack boric acid. I ordered this after using a 1 lb. bottle of the same product. This product appears quite effective against roaches over a period of weeks. There was a rental apartment where the guy getting removed was a total ass, piling bits of food all over his place and leaving the refrigerator full of food with the power turned off, imagine the roach party. This material, combined with duck tape strips turned sticky side up(make a small tab on each end to handle it, gorilla tape works best), and DuPont chemical out of a squeeze tube(looks like a huge needle) applied sparingly where they travel on a piece of cardboard over a period of approximately 2 weeks eradicated the roach infestation. It takes time and a combination approach to rid yourself or your rental properties, patience and reapplication, observation of where they travel for better placements, and eliminate easy access to water is the key to swaying the battle in your direction. This product is definitely cheap for what it does, took some time learning how to apply a dust from the bottle, a certain technique of tilt and squeeze pressure but once you get it this is the best way boric acid works, a light dust. Roaches really hate this stuff, brown, german, etc. gets them all... Over time, several days. The combination works great, dont rely of just one product either... It's a combination of products, sealing off cracks, pipes running though your walls under the sink and such (duct mastic, plumbers putty, etc) , denying them water... this is key(stoppering the sink at night... They love your drain pipes... Plenty of water in the traps)... to eliminate them. This product dusted under your frig, stove, and dishwasher... and behind them, is very effective... Out of sight but killing the little bugggers. Boric acid kills slower but is a lot safer, the DuPont spread sparingly on small pieces of cardboard is the second punch, and youd be amazed how well some well placed, extremely sticky high quality duck tape works. Like I said, it's not an instant process if the place you're treating is infested, but after two weeks this location treated went from I estimate many, many hundreds down to the occasional already dying, punch drunk poisoned roach or two. You'll recognize those, come out in the daytime, wobble, stagger, and don't act like a roach at all... Lol. I recommend this product as part of a pronged attack, it's relatively cheap and works and can be applied unlike other products in areas that others would be difficult to do.

Good for small roach colonies but won't cut it for large ones
I noticed German cockroaches do not like boric acid and will try to stay away from it. These come partially full and you're supposed to squeeze the tubes just enough for a small amount to come out. If there is a heavy infestation this will not cut it. This just makes them run the other direction. I did mix this stuff with peanut butter and just kind of hoped for the best. I also put it near water. Honestly the best way to get rid of German cockroaches is to put down those baits that they take back to the nest and the poisons that are specifically used to make them infertile. It takes about 6 months to get rid of them if you don't act quickly. GOOD LUCK -- dealing with roaches is probably one of the WORST experiences of my life, glad I don't have to anymore.

Excellent for killing ants
This stuff can be mixed with powdered sugar, and sprinkled where ants look for food. Iโve literally seen them marching along, carrying little white specks back home with them. Woo-hoo! 1/4 boric acid to 3/4 powdered sugar is a good mix. Just put both in a little airtight container, and shake vigorously. Then sprinkle a little here and there, when itโs dry and you expect no rain. The ants will do the rest. (Donโt put it where pets or children might touch it though. It is poisonous, after all!) Iโve not had much luck with other ant poisons and baits. This concoction seems to work better than anything else Iโve tried. Of course you have to be vigilant. Just because theyโre gone one year doesnโt mean another colony wonโt show up the next. But Iโve kept at it, and it does seem to work quite well. I donโt know if it works for red fire ants โ I use a different poison for that, specifically designed for that kind of ant. Some folks have told me itโs mean to poison vermin near my home. Oh brother! Go where youโre not supposed to, and take your chances. Besides, the Animal Kingdom is utterly brutal and unforgiving. Animals chase each other down all the time and eat each other, sometimes while still alive. Some insects breed their young inside other living insects. And those are just a couple of examples. Dying of poison seems tame compared to many alternatives.

Boric Acid, Eggs, Sugar...DO IT.
Here is a list of all of the different roach killing items I've purchased over the past year to try and kill the German Cockroaches in my apartment: Bengal Roach Spray Advion Gel Bait. Vendetta Gel Bait. Invict Gold Bait. Spectracide Bug Stop. Raid Bug Barrier. Raid Max. Raid Baits. Hot Shot Liquid Baits. Combat Max Baits. Combat Foggers. Gentrol IGR. Bi-Weekly spraying and baiting from the Apartment's exterminators. Literally NONE of that worked. They just kept coming and coming, because the whole apartment complex is infested. It was driving us up a wall. And then, someone suggested I check out a video about using Boric Acid and Eggs to kill the roaches. I did what the video said, and I went from seeing about 70-80 roaches a week, to only seeing 1 roach in the past two weeks. 2 Roaches since I put it down 2 months ago. I think this stuff not only killed the roaches in my apartment, but all the roaches in the entire block of apartments I live in. Here's what you do: 1. Take 4 eggs and boil them for 20 minutes. 2. Remove the Egg yolks and put them in a bowl. 3. Add 8 tablespoons of sugar to the eggs. 4. Add 16 tablespoons of this boric acid to the mix. 5. Mash it all together until it makes a yellow playdough consistency. 6. Take little balls of it (using gloves and a mask) and put it around your house/apartment, especially in the Bathrooms and Kitchens, under sinks, wherever you see roach activity. (Keep out of the reach of children and pets.). I put mine on little pieces of foil for easy clean up. 7. Wait a couple of weeks and they should finally be gone. 8. Replace the baits with fresh baits after a month. (The egg won't rot or stink due to the sugar and acid.) I have replaced mine only twice and haven't seen any roaches but the two. I'm telling you this stuff is a miracle. I fought those roaches for over a year. I will never use anything else again. I praise the Most High for this stuff. It's a true game changer.

Powerful ant killer
Very powerful ant killer after applying it in the bathroom the ant disappeared within few days and never came back again The reason for 4 star not five is that one of the bottles was opened and all the powder was in the plastic bag
