I got this pottery kit to my son birthday 9 year old. He's try and like it because easy use it. I recommendfor the kids or beginners

I used this 4 months after receiving it and the air dry clay was still in perfect condition when opened, not dried out at all which could happen with other products. The mini wheel was cute and I’m only worried about water touching the power cord. I wish there was something that closed off or blocked that area from potential water splashes while throwing.I’m very much a beginner with throwing as you can see but it was enjoyable using this wheel. When coning the clay the machine sometimes would get away from me a bit making it difficult to center but it didn’t take away from the fun for me.I used the provided air dry clay and stamps to make this mini bowl. This is after it had dried over night. It was cold to the touch but I think I will wait longer to paint over it to seal it.

Quality metal product. Nice tool kits and fresh viable sealed clay. The tutorials from the store are okay, but there's tons of good information on the web.

The unit seemed very well made and operated very well. Our grandaughter loved it!

The drying process was quicker thanks to the included heat gun, which I used for my air-dry clay and paint. I'm also looking forward to spending more time with the pottery wheel to improve my pottery techniques. Although the enclosed instructions were basic, I found many helpful YouTube videos that demonstrated various methods for making small bowls, plates, vases, and cups. My only caution for beginners is to have a water bucket on hand for cleaning their hands and tools, as clay can clog indoor plumbing, and any clay water is best disposed of outdoors.Overall, I rate the Mini Pottery Wheel Kit five stars because it is well-equipped and includes a variety of essential, quality components. However, I opted to use my ACMI (Art & Creative Materials Institute) certified clay instead of the air-dry clay included in the set. ACMI clay contains no materials in sufficient quantities that could be harmful to adults or children, ensuring a safe and enjoyable pottery experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this set to anyone interested in learning more about pottery, and I would include ACMI air-dry clay as well.

Motor is not very strong and makes a loud noise when you put pressure on it

My little one really enjoys this, especially on those cold raining weekend days where she's 'stuck' inside. It's easy to supervise and she got the hang of the wheel after a few attempts, at least enough to get things close to what she wants them to look like. As she uses it more, she continues to improve. It's nice to be able to do this at home, much cheaper than going out to a pottery place. Of course, the size of the finished projects are much smaller and we aren't putting anything in a kiln, but still, for what it does, it's pretty neat.

I am a total beginner at pottery. This small wheel was easy to use. I am also left handed and didn’t have a problem using this.

El motor no es muy potente y la rotación empieza a detenerse cuando aumenta la fricción, pero con práctica y un par de clases se pueden hacer varias cosas. Es muy práctico para limpiar y almacenar.
