Very tasty
Really good. I live in Nashville and have access to pit smoked pork so I substitute it for Chashu. I also found dehydrated shitaki mushrooms, so I add them, and I roast garlic cloves and add those along with green onion and toasted sesame seeds. It makes for a very flavorful meal, but I see the price has gone up. It was $29 USD and it's now $43. Yikes. So I'm trying other alternatives for now, but I may come back to this for its excellent flavor and convenience.

The Broth Text & Delicate Taste of the Ramen itself.
Arrived in one package (aka the box itself) don't expect to get extra's. Its diabolical for the price to be raised but still worth the buy to try out the ramen itself. Broth is delicious and rich. Ramen has some starch in them so probably cook them on HIGH stove in hot boiling water for about 10 - 15 minutes. It'll probably give you a unique taste of how you want your ramen to taste (not the broth). Once all finished, you could do add-ons like steak / chicken / pork / half-cooked boiled egg / and green onions for finishing touches. Trust me, its worth getting it once for the taste of the broth itself. Save your money people!!

Instant ramen that is close to being what is in Japan
Very close to tasting like the Ichiran in Japan. Was craving ramen from Japan as there are no good places in Houston, this is it. For a ramen being instant, this is way better than most ramen restaurants in Houston. Would recommend for anyone who misses Ichiran in Japan.

Fresh Taste
To counter shadymist kennels review. Honestly, I love Shin Black, it has more flavor than the regular Shin ramen. This Ichiran Tonkotsu though, is by far my favorite though. It does have the authentic japanese ramen taste 100%. The noodles are also a much better quality. They don't get soggy like other ramen packages (soggy ramen noodles make me gag).I am however, a bit of a ramen snob. Having been raised on poor mans ramen for most my life (you now, Nissin and Maruchan (Maruchan being the better of the two), I now gag on any ramen that shares the noodle texture of those brands.Shin ramen is too spicy for me, Shin black is okay because the tonkotsu flavoring added to it removes some of the kick. The noodles are good. But even they get soggy eventually. So that's why Ichiran will be # 1 to me. Plus it just tastes fresher.

Nice quality noodles and broth but lacking toppings for texture and more flavor
Good quality noodles, nice rich tasting broth and slow burn but not overpowering spice packet on side but had no toppings so was underwhelming for the expensive price

Worth the money!
I have repurchased multiple times. So yummy and easy to make. I spice it up with an egg, green onions and sesame seeds. Although a little pricy, it’s worth it!

Great Ramen!!! Not your typical instant Ramen.
Always wanted to try in Ichiran Ramen but haven't made it out to New York or Japan. Saw some YouTube video saying this was pretty close to the actual restaurant, so decided to order and try it.My box had a total of 5 servings. Each serving has noodles, broth and red chili pepper. I ate and serve my bowls with toppings of pork belly, ramen egg, wood ears mushroom and green onion.Noodles:I didn't think the noodles would be as good as it was, since it was dried. After boiling noodles per instructions, It turn out pretty good.. I'd say 8.75 out of 10, but noodles is all preference.Broth:The broth exceeded my expectation a 10 out of 10. There seems to be fatty oil that is in broth package too and I think that what made the broth great.Chilli powder:They also added their famous red chilli pepper if you want to add it to your bowl. If you like spicy food you will be disappointed. There is not enough red pepper in the small bag. It gives just a hint of spicyness. My opinion is if they tripple the amount it would have been better. If you don't like to like spicy foods, I was told by friend that ate it with me, it was just the right amount. If you add the whole red pepper bag to bowl of ramen it doesn't over power the flavor of the broth. Not sure if giving a number rating for chilli power bag is needed since spicyness of broth is different for everyone. If you do decide to buy this, please take the time to make good toppings for ramen.Overall experience was great and I would order again. Friends that tried it with me all ended up ordering some for themself, even though the price is a little high.
