Good file, use gently to prevent deep scratches.
Great to have for paint correction.

Phenomenal little gadget!
Phenomenal, product! I have been painting for 18 years and I am not sure how I did it without this nifty tool. Mostly, any runs I get when painting is when it is on a smooth, hand trowled texture that had big ridges in it. It is worth it! It takes the stress out of babysitting drying paint because you can hit it after with this and it cuts the run off without losing the texture.

Useful little tool
Worked great to remove some pretty bad runs in urethane clearcoat.

Saves time when removing drips.
This helps me a lot since I’m a cabinet refinisher, before I had to sand drips down to the bare wood to get rid of them, this tool saves me tons of time!

works great
Ive only ever used the old school wood block type. This one is reversible, and can be used without the "holder" piece for real small work areas. Works great, just wish it could take a bigger bite.

Decent on flat surfaces.
It could be that I’m new to using this type of tool but it did ok on flat surfaces but with the slightest curve and it would scratch. I had to sand a ton on this hood and the car as a whole either way so this project didn’t provide much help for me.

Paint run file
Great tool! After correcting paint runs it still needs to be finished off with 220 grit sand paper but much easier to use than a scraper.

Expensive but nice
This thing is really, really expensive for what it is. I'm not even sure why I bought this but I'm glad I did. I used it to cut some nibs after fixing a series of tiny paint chips on my cart and this thing worked a treat. It is small but heavy just enough to let it glide over and flush the excess without any pressure whatsoever. Saved me a lot of excessive wet sanding. Just be really, really gentle with it. Appears well made, so I guess good things cost quite a bit.

Good to have when required.

Good quality denibber. Easy to flip file surface over. This tool requires a bit of finesse when using to get best results (especially on metal surfaces). Lots of instructional videos available online

Good to use this and save a lot of time to levelling the touch up paint and surrounding paint. Have to do it patiently as it may cut the surrounding paint if done it improperly.

Perfect for filing down excess paint. After I retouch paint chips on my hood, I let the new paint dry several days, place masking tape around the retouched spot as to not create further damage. Then I file down the excess paint with this tool. Be patient and work the tool lightly and carefully.

Came across this little beauty online in a video. As said in the title its perfect for de-nibbing and removing runs from painted surfaces. Small enough to focus on area affected only without affected larger areas requiring more work.
