Long pattern
These longer wrenches are easier to use if you have the room, they seem to be very good quality.

Solid home use set.
Pros:1. Feel like a higher quality then Craftsman sets of recent.2. Weight was surprising for the size of the wrenches, in a good way.3. Worked well.4. Smacked a few with a hammer and they didn't break while removing rusty bolts.5. Finish is nice and change from super shiny chrome.Cons:1. Numbers are a bit harder to read and would benefit from being a different color (a quick afternoon mod).2. Made of "alloy steel" which means nothing since all steel is by definition alloy steel. Usually, they tell you if its vanadium or other alloy.

This is a Good Set. Recommended.
I was a tinker when I was young. Studied Engineering and became an Engineer. Tinkered with lots of cars and overhauled two. I was always looking for something to improve. Of course, I am familiar with tools. Snap on and Proto Tools are probably the creme de la crème but they were/are expensive and difficult to get a hold of. I remember Snap on was only available for purchase on their trucks. Most of my hand tools are Craftsman from Sears. The reason was I could drop by Sears and picked up a tool that I needed with ease. Craftsman tools might not have the finish compare to Snap on but Craftsman tools last. If I remember correctly, Craftsman had Lifetime warranty. I have never ever needed to return any Craftsman tools for warranty. I am a senior now and hardly work on cars. A lot of my tools were picked up by my sons and they are spread all over the place. Still, I have saved some tools to work at home and I do once in a while work on my cars. This set of Craftsman Metric Long-Panel Wrench Set sparks my interest. I could use a longer wrench as I am not as strong as before. This extra length would provide more leverage to crack open a tight nut. I did not know Craftsman tools are still being made. So, I ordered it.I was not disappointed when I received this set. The finish is on par if not better than my old Craftsman. It is not from Sears anymore but from Stanley Black & Decker. Both Stanley and Black & Decker were well known Tool and Power Tool companies. A search on the internet, confirmed my guess. These two companies merged and later bought Craftsman from Sears. What is interesting is the shape of the surface on open end wrench. Instead of a flat surface to grab the side of a nut or bolt, there is a relief on that surface on both sides of the open end. This is a very thoughtful design. The reliefs are at the locations of the corners of nuts or bolts. There is less of a chance that the nut of bolt would be stripped as the corners would not be touching the inside of the wrench. I like this feature.I am keeping this set for myself. Not even let my sons to borrow them. LOL!Update 02/20/2024Footnote: -The red plastic folding “Keeper” is really good. It keeps the Wrenches organized and in one place. The wrenches are readily accessible. Some wrench sets do furnish a box of some sorts to house and organize the wrenches but they are usually large and take up a lot of space. This one is small and efficient. Well designed.

Qaulity set of craftsman wrenches
We all know and love craftsman tools for their quality and value. These fit right in with that. They have a nice finish and a good thickness. If torqued on some sketchy bolts and they worked great. No slippage at all. Sure you can find a cheaper set but if you care to keep your knuckles from getting busted then spend the couple more dollars and you will have tools to pass down.

High quality
Craftsman is known for quality, long lasting tools and this wrench set is boss. I love the finish and they are heavy, very sturdy and perfect for a mechanic or even DIY. The value for the money is spot on and because of the long life of the product you won’t need to buy another set for a long time. They will perform over and over with ease. The sizes are perfect for areas that your hands may not easily reach and them arrive in a neat little case to ensure that none fall out in transport. These are a perfect addition to any tool box and I definitely recommend them.

Craftsman Metric Long Wrench Set, 11 Piece Set (CMMT87013)
This is a great entry level set of wrenches for someone just starting out with their first set of tools or someone looking to add some additional longer metric wrenches to their tool box.The overall finish of the wrenches are what I would expect from Craftsman, since they are pretty well known brand. Since being taken over by Stanley tool when Sears went under quality on somethings have been a bit questionable, but this set of tools doesn't seem to suffer from the super cheap feeling some tools give off. This set of wrenches does unfortunately suffer from some size skipping. Sizes skipped 7MM, 9MM, 11MM. While once can argue that this set includes the most common sizes you will encounter I would say I run into 7MM fasteners quite ofter in the automotive industry, so that wrench missing from this set is a disappointment. All of the wrenches are engraved with their respective sizes. If the engraved sizes are hard to read then there are plenary of guides out there which can walk you though adding a touch of color making the wrenches a bit easier to read. These wrenches are backed by Craftsman Lifetime warranty which appears pretty easy to file a claim directly through Craftsman's website. I do believe that Lowes will require you to return the entire set for warranty vs just replacing the individual piece of the set that has failed.Overall the set is a pretty decent value when compared to other metric wrench sets with similar offerings.
