Works so well
I used this device for getting the CAN data from my Car. Its working so well and I can see all the data and responses of peddle, accelerator reflected live in PCAN viewer. Gridconnect has extremely good support . One good part is they have provided the C++ APIs which I am yet to explore for acquiring CAN data from my vehicle. I am planning to use it for developing a Instrument cluster by acquiring vehicle data.

Good CANbus analyzer, good free software
It works well and the the free PC software that you can find for it online is really simple and easy to use and has data logging.

Easy to start with
I bought this for a project which required a PC tool to use. This was easy to use and also came with dll to use with c# or VB project.

Doesn't work on Linux?
I tried using this on Linux with `candump` and did not get any output from a 2023 Nissan Frontier. I used a OBD->Serial (DB9) connector to connect to the truck's OBD port. Commands I ran: sudo modprobe peak_usb sudo modprobe peak_pci sudo ip link set can0 up type can bitrate 500000 sudo ip link set up can0 Then ran the `candump` tool. I did not see any output, and when I ran it with the -f option to save to a file, the file was empty.
