Bought this set or our Granddaughter for Christmas, she absolutely loves it, she said she started learning, it has easy to follow instructions. She was so excited to see all the different crochet hooks, tape measure, and so much more that was included in the kit, and it has a really nice case to carry or store it all in. There are pockets to keep things more organized. I am very impressed myself that I am thinking about ordering the same set for myself and finally learning to crochet.The quality of the bag, and all the items included seem really good, the color variety of the yarn was great. I highly recommend this set, makes a great gift for a young person wanting to learn, or a gift for a sister, friend or anyone just wanting to learn.

The bag is great quality!!!! The purple is an amazing color!!!! The hooks are great quality and the grip is very soft! The yarn is good yarn for what you pay for with the kit but isn’t the best if you are getting this kit to learn.(I got a 5 dollar bundle of yarn at Walmart to learn with.) The book that comes with it shows stuff but you have to know what you are doing to understand it. Great for beginners as it’s a way to get so much for a great price!!! And

I don’t regret this purchase at all!!! This kit is a key essential to any beginner crocheter. So reliable and the bag is perfect for storage. I feel so comfortable having this next to me as I work on my projects. This kit alone made me more excited to create more things!

You def get a bang for your buck, but this kit is not very beginner friendly. The yarn is super fine, making it difficult to work with. The instruction booklet is helpful to an extent. Why they would use such CRAZY colors in the tutorial photos is beyond me. Maybe it is just me, but it made it difficult for me to follow. Hooks are great quality and the bag is awesome. Also, these are very small bundles of yarn, so don’t but it thinking you’ll make an entire blanket or anything.

After reading some of the reviews on this item (how cheaply made it felt and how it smelled) I was 50/50 about how I would feel once I received it, but I took a chance anyway.. and I’m glad I did! I gave this a 5 star because the quality and quantity you get for $25 is amazing! Let’s face it 21 crochet hooks plus a ton of other accessories for the price point.. you can’t beat that anywhere! It arrived a day ahead of schedule which was awesome (I purchased it on Sunday afternoon and received it Monday afternoon, literally within 24 hours!) that was a plus. When it came it didn’t have any strong odor(s) as some of the reviews stated, another plus. I received every item I was supposed to receive and I actually received extra, BONUS! Everything looked brand new, didn’t look or seem used as another reviewer stated, which was awesome. Nice, good sturdy carrying case with a little room for growth for a few extra hooks, etc., just a little. Tape measure tape was a little bent when I unrolled to see how long it was, but no biggie, easy fix. Tape measure goes to 60 inches in length and is easily retractable with a push button and easy to use, doesn’t stick, locks in place while measuring for accuracy and ease of use which is awesome. The ergonomic hooks feel awesome and does what is advertised. Aluminum hooks feel of good quality, made to last. The scissors aren’t the best in the world but they aren’t the worst, they’re actually pretty decent, compact and gets the job done. Overall, I’d say this is pretty impressive considering each hook can run anywhere from $3 and up.. 3 X 21... you do the math! And that’s NOT including the needles, tape measure, ruler, scissors, row counters, ring markers, stitch markers.. so on and so on. I think this set is awesome to have for everyone, especially beginners. IF I HAD TO name one thing I didn’t like about this set, I would say the range in the sizes of the hooks (but truthfully I don’t have anything bad to say, I just did this to remain objective). Some of them were repeats, for example I received a 6.0mm hook on the aluminum side but also got a 6.0mm J hook on the ergonomic side as well. The range is 2.0mm to 8.0mm on aluminum side and 2.0mm to 6.0mm on ergonomic side. Not bad at all! Definitely would purchase this again, and probably very soon.. on my way to my mother’s house and I know once she sees it, it won’t be mine anymore lol!

Exactly what you need. The ergonomic hooks are super comfortable, the tape measure is long and accurate, the seam ripper is perfect for cutting snags, the yarn needles are great, and there's plenty of stitch markers in multiple styles.There are a few items enclosed that are only usable in knitting--stitch stoppers, safety pin-style stitch holders, and cable needles--but that's not much of a downside!!! It's a great value for the price and I will absolutely recommend this to any beginner.

This kit came with everything listed and it is described as stated. I have made many items with the yarn abs the tools are a must have makes crocheting easier

The storage/carry bag is very nice and so are the crochet hooks and most of the other supplies. However, my disappointment is the yarn. While there is a variety of nice colors, the yarn is very soft and thin. It's not a good quality for a beginner like me. It splits easily and can be very frustrating while I'm trying to learn how to create the stitches. Maybe when I'm more adept with a crochet hook, I will be able to use the yarn that is supplied with this kit. Until then I will have to use better yarn. Also, the instruction booklet isn't the best because the pictures are small and not very clear. The written instructions are okay, and the directions are organized fairly well, but it's a good thing there are videos online.
