I could not be happier with this purchase. I read thru the other reviews and picked up great tips for weighting it down and attaching the lid so it tips back when opened along with a sign indicating it was for deliveries, also purchased on Amazon. Our delivery people use it without fail. Saves them having to eyeball a protected area and I don't have to worry about things getting soaked. Check out the review by JJBad. We followed instructions to the letter and they worked perfectly to attach the lid. The attached pix were also super helpful.

Sturdy, beautiful, inexpensive, and just what I wanted to keep my deliveries safe and dry. My front porch doesn’t have a cover so all of my parcels get soaked when it rains. Plus, no assembly needed. It is two solid pieces; a top and the bottom so it will not come apart in the wind. ( I red comments about other boxes). It has a small vent on the bottom rear for ventilation.

I bought this because I have a relatively small front porch for leaving deliveries. Packages would arrive and most of them, of course wouldn’t fit between the screen door and the inside door so they would be left on the porch almost anywhere, in any weather conditions. Sometimes semi-large, heavy boxes would be left so close to the storm door that we couldn’t open it easily. This IS the answer to that problem! I also purchased signs for the lid and the front of it that say, “Leave packages here,” and it has been a game changer! I’ve only put the one on the lid so far, but it works about 98% of the time. (You always have that one delivery guy who doesn’t really go up onto the porch, he just puts the package there and doesn’t pay attention.) It has proven to be weatherproof, in terms of rain and snow, so I don’t have to worry about wet packages when I come home or if I didn’t hear the delivery being left and got to it several hours later. When my usual Amazon delivery guy saw it the next day, I happened to hear him and stepped out to grab the package from the box. I thanked him and he asked if I wanted him to put packages in the box from them on and I said I did. He complimented on the box and said he’d never seen one, but thought it was a great idea to have one. I think everyone should have one, if they have a place for it. It’s very sturdy and has a nice vent on the back of it so things won’t get too hot, I suppose. The lid stays on and won’t blow off. It’s been very windy here several times lately and that’s not happened. Although, it did blow off my porch a couple of times, but I haven’t weighed it down, as suggested yet. It didn’t get any cracks or dings or get scratched up when it rolled about 50 ft. in one windstorm we had. Like I said, STURDY. It also holds lots of packages at Christmastime when there’s more things being ordered and delivered in the same day. It never got completely full in spite of the fact that we have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren we were ordering for.

The Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the first one ordered arrived (in a taped but damaged box) minus it's lid or paperwork. Things being as they are with the Virus,... it was Really Hard for me to get to a town where I could return it. (which I did) but instead of sending me a replacement, I learned I'd had to re-order it, and money for my first one would (eventually) be credited my Amazon. Well,.... I finally re-ordered, because I REALLY wanted this one,... not a different one. The new one I ordered arrived quickly but it would still be quite awhile before my account here was credited,.... plus the 2nd ordered one had gone up in price, so there was a stretch of time when I had payments out for TWO boxes,... but no box and no credit,... the 2nd one came,... the box in great shape, the lid and paperwork inside but it Still took several weeks before my account was credited. There's a slight problem with the box,... it leaks water inside,... I'm ASSUMING, coming in via the air vent on one side,.... as I cannot find ANY way it can be coming in via the lid,...The lid has a good over-lap,.... the whole unit is sturdy,... I spray-painted a 4" concrete cap block and put it in the bottom for weight (I prepped that BEFORE I got the 2nd box suggesting similar weighting) and That works Great plus holds packages above the half-inch deep water that collected inside a slightly lower corner,... you can see the cap block to the right in the picture,... as you can also see , there are ridges molded in the bottom to also help keep packages above the water. I dried the inside after the first rain left water,... so in the picture you see the 2nd rain results about a week or two later.. I would NOT consider this a reason not to order the unit,... but I think if the manufacturer raised the vent hole a few inches, it might eliminate the problem. All problems aside,... I LOVE the box. I noticed a couple of folks were not happy about it having no way to be locked. IF it were locked,.... the carrier could not put packages into it. I just wanted something that looked nice and would HIDE packages,.... as we've had them stolen SEVERAL times in the past,... because they were within sight of the country road which is like 20-25 feet away,.... This has done the job for all but one delivery which was HUGE, and could Not fit the delivery box.

Love this drop box for packages. Keeps them dry when it rains. Large enough for bigger packages.

I was very surprised at the size of this box. It fits perfectly on the outside of my front door and it does not block the entrance way. I am waiting to see if it holds trapped water from the rain.

I live in an urban area and got tired of worrying that my packages would be stolen. I often wasn’t home when packages would arrive and I could see on our camera they were sitting on the front steps. We put this on landing with a PACKAGE sign and have had zero issues.it’s definitely large enough for 99 percent of my deliveries, and also protects from rain. Highly recommend

Great product

We ordered this to hide deliveries before the porch pirates did their thing. Also adds great protection from the elements. It’s not too heavy but a brick or 2 will solve that problem. It’s a great solution and we have it beside our ring doorbell so it everything is hidden. A great great solution at a reasonable price. It has no lock but you could add something but are the delivery personal going to hassle with those precious moments to unlock it? I’d guess no. Simple and easy. Love it!

I have nothing bad to say...I get many compliments on the delivery box. It looks good, it’s sturdy and waterproof and very roomy. The one downside is it’s light, so just to be sure it doesn’t tip over in a strong wind I placed a 10lb weight in the bottom. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a well constructed delivery box. Due to high wind conditions here in winter, I installed a "piano hinge" on one of the two longest sides of the box holding the lid in place. I also would recommend that the purchaser place a very large concrete slab or several bricks to keep the unit firmly in place during wind storms. The delivery box handles quite large parcels. (see photo below)(16" deep, 14" wide fit in the box with room to spare). As a result of my purchase, several friends are going to buy one as well.
