This dash camera works really well and gives clear video quality both day and night. It’s easy to install and use, with simple controls that don’t take long to figure out. The recording is reliable, and it feels like a solid, well-built device. Overall, a great purchase for added peace of mind while driving.

This is a solid choice for a dashcam. We've had it installed on our Skoolie for about a year, traveling around the country and seeing the sights. We use the second camera to record the inside of the bus, and use footage for youtube and TikTok videos. The image quality is very high and the device itself is pretty intuitive to use. The automatic event detection sometimes triggers on harsh bumpy roads, but if you're in a regular car or pickup truck this is probably not going to be an issue. My advice if you're recording in the native 4k is to grab any interesting footage after every drive, even with the large sd card you're not going too far back in time! The night vision is pretty good and the built in speed and gps coordinates are super useful too! I added a few samples from driving around in Arizona under different conditions, judge the quality for yourself!

This is my first dash cam and I've been using it a month. It has been great so far. Its very easy to install and the quality of recording is excellent. Also, the customer service from 70mai was very helpful and promt to reply to my question regarding the installation and how to ise the first time. I picked up this brand as I heard from most of the recommendation from youtube content maker, and I am so happy that I did. I highly recomend to my friend and everyone.

As a dashcam, it works great, I deduct 1 star because I cant connect via wifi, password is stated to be 12345678, they may or may not be true, I just cant connect even if I do a factory reset so anytime I need to view footage, I have to remove the SD card and view it that way on my computer, cant figure out a way to watch on my cell phone but recordings are excellent and no other problems as of yet. Excellent video quality, 4k is actually 4k.

I have been using the dashcam for about 3 months now. The installation was easy, it is DIY work if you are not too concerned about perfection. I was able to get the wiring done to my satisfaction, but if you want a perfectly clean work, get it done by professionals. The wifi connectivity and video download through mai app is very convenient and easy to get done. Overall a good dashcam with excellent video quality.

The video quality of this 70mai A810 is top-tier. The 4K resolution is incredibly sharp, and the night vision is the best I've seen. However, a quick warning for installation: Setting up the rear camera can be tricky. The instructions aren't very clear about the orientation, and it’s very easy to install it upside down. I highly recommend powering on the unit and checking the live feed on the app before you permanently stick the rear camera to your window. Overall, it's a premium dash cam, but they could definitely improve the installation guide for the rear lens!

Night quality is pretty good! App is easy to follow. Installation didn’t take too long. Not too bulky or in the way on my windshield.

This is my second 70mai dash cam. I'm taking off two stars for two issues I encountered. I was expecting a flawless picture on the 4K camera. If the car in front is several meters away, it's impossible to read the license plate properly. I have to zoom in very tightly. The second issue is that when I try to download a three-minute or one-minute video, the Wi-Fi connection is very unstable and constantly drops. I have to press the cancel button and then continue. Even doing this repeatedly, I can download videos at speeds of 2.5 - 3.7 MB/s, which is an unacceptable level of pain for the user. ------------- Update after a while using the dash cam: I had a support case opened, we tried some troubleshooting steps including log capturing, but it did not help, After continuing to work with 70mai support team on the remaining issues, I appreciate their efforts to follow up and assist with troubleshooting. They were responsive and tried to help resolve the problems. While not all issues were fully fixed, the support experience was positive overall. Regarding the license plates readability support told me that this dash cam expected to record readable plates at up to 10 meters ahead. Once I was doing troubleshooting and discovered a new firmware available for my dash cam. Of course I installed it. After that I noticed some improvements. I tested the dash cam and a sequential downloads of several videos in a row. 1. Download worked good until the mobile app hung on the 5th file. I use app for iOS on iPhone 15 pro max. Then I found the dash cam not responsive as well. I had to switch the dash cam off and on to resume download and to kill and reopen the mobile app. 2. Finally I got 5GHz wifi working on the dash cam after firmware update. I was not able to turn it on. Only 2.4GHz was working. 3. Bullet 2 did not help to improve the download speed which never came above 6.7 MB/s. I'd expect higher speed rates from 5GHz connection. As a conclusion, I am ready to give 4 stars out of 5, because dash cam and/or mobile app still has things I'd expect to be improved or solved.

Great quality camera. Easy to install. Just don't forget to grab a SD card at the same time as the camera comes without one.

Bought two 70mai dash cams during the Black Friday sale. After receiving them, I connected each unit to a 5V power source and completed the setup before installing them in my cars. The setup process was straightforward: the menu is easy to navigate, and the Wi-Fi connection pairs quickly and reliably. Once configured, I installed the dash cams in my vehicles. After more than a month of use, both cameras have performed very well. Image quality is clear during both daytime and nighttime driving, and the Wi-Fi connection remains stable. License plates of other vehicles are clearly readable while driving from distance. I plan to add the parking power cable and rear camera once the weather gets warmer.
