Good product!
Great product. The bits work well, expanding to hold the sanding drums tightly. There is good variation in size and grit. Fits my needs very well.

Pricey & Small, but a time saver, so Worth it? Maybe.
OK, so I had about 40-50 small boards I cut on the chop saw. All had rough ends, & needed sanding. I was not looking forward to that, so I thought of this. I'd seen one long ago, but it was a lot bigger, & longer, so I wasn't too keen on spending this much for such small versions, but I used the biggest one, & it worked pretty well. My drill press isn't the best, & neither is this, so there's some wobbling, but once you have the wood on there, it settles down a lot, & worked well for taking the burrs off the edges of each end. I'd have been many hours with many sanding sponges (& many slivers) doing this by hand, & this made fairly quick work of it. Of course, It's not gonna do huge items nearly as well, but with some finagling, I think you could get some fairly big pieces done, too. Just plan on angling it a lot. The smaller sets are less useful for my purposes, but maybe if I didn't already have a Dremel with a million small rotary sanders, I'd find more of a use for them. As it is, they're pretty much the same size, but in a much harder to use position than my Dremel, so I won't likely be using those. As to Grits - I also found it hard to distinguish between the Rough, Medium, & fine grits. I'm sure there's a difference, but it's not clear, even when holding them side by side. I lined them all up, & tried to see a difference, but they're the same color, & feel the same texture, too, so who knows. As to falling off the drum, I too had a hard time fully tightening the nut in my hand. Once I put it in the drill press, I was able to get some leverage on the screw, & it tightened up just fine (FYI - it screws backwards to normal nuts, to prevent it coming loose as it spins). I was using it for 2 hours straight, & it never slipped once. This will certainly fit in any drill, or drill press, though it's small size will make it hard to use in a handheld drill. The drill will likely exceed the diameter of the drum, so unless it's sanding inside a hole, probably better off on the Drill Press. No directions - but it's pretty intuitive, & No Wrench included for tightening, so plan to bring your own. : ) Overall, I think the quality is fine, but the price is pretty high for what you get. Only you can say if it's worth that much. If it had been 10 boards, it wouldn't have been to me, but 50 boards - yeah, OK. Grudgingly.

Excellent and Great Price: Wood and Metal Work
Excellent and Great Price: Wood and Metal Work! These are built with excellent quality and work great on both wood and metal for doing fine. Detail work for a great price. I use them in my mill drill on wood and metal and they grind excellent on both. Highly recommend, and will buy again.

Sand paper unravels with heavy use.
Sandpaper unravels with heavy use. I used on a drill to create a channel on an oak board. Went through 3 coarse drums in five minutes. Iโll be shopping for another brand.

Sanding drums
As advertised

I appreciate the extra length.
This set of sanding drums is much better designed than the shorter drum sanders I have. This longer set is much easier to replace the sanding sleeve over the rubber drum. They slide right on! (Like they are supposed to). They also run true and not eccentric.
