OBSESSED with these! If you like the taster of bacon but don't want pork, nor the calories and fats, I highly recommend these! They're a bit firmer than regular bacon but have great flavor and your conscience is CLEARED because it's LITERALLY BEANS! :D

Finally was able to try this out, it’s Smoky and delicious and has a nice crunch too. It worked and tasted great with my food. The bean aftertaste isn’t bad but might bother you depending on what you put it in.

These bacon bits have really good flavor and work well on a variety of foods. The only downside is they’re a little too crunchy, which makes the texture slightly tougher than expected. Still a solid and tasty topping overall.

They are better when heated up on a baked potato or pasta dish. A little plasticky on salad. I love these bits. Great bacon replacement!!!! I'm glad the chef can't up with this as an alternative. Praise to the chef and crew. I would like them have a lil more flavor but it's okay the way it is, like a less salty food for better health. I would like to see them in local stores with the rest of the salad topping products.

Good product but AMAZON is matching a price gouging 3rd party seller off Walmart which isn't fair! Purchased this product for $4.45 recently and it's now $11.81 overnight! Talk about GREED. Contacted the Fresh Gourmet company to report this not being anywhere near a fair market price anymore and won't purchase again until the price is back where it was!

As a salad topping there great!! You can smell that awesome smoke flavoring and they add a great crunch to your salad soup and scrambled eggs. They're more flakey than bac-o's or bacon bits. A little of the pinto bean flavor can be detected if you pop some in your mouth and give them a taste test chew... A great plant based alternative to bacon! They are processed pinto beans with hickory flavor, so maybe their point could be lower.

These bacon-less bits unfortunately do not taste like bacon at all. They taste like what they are - pinto beans. Dehydrated pinto beans with some seasoning. They taste okay for what they are, just don’t expect them to be a good substitute for bacon. I was pretty bummed that they weren’t what they claim to be since other imitation bacon bits just taste like pure liquid smoke. I was hoping to find a better fake bacon. My plan was to use these on pizza but I really don’t want it to just taste like beans.
