Fantastic reel
Used it for the first time this week whilst beach casting. Lovely reel with a great action. Lovely smooth retrieve and the spool design really does help with that extra distance.

Not durable enough?
I bought this reel because I already had one the same but just after buying this one, my first Akios reel which is only a year old and not overly used broke. The A/R switch at the back of the reel had no affect so the handle is winding forward an backward regardless of the swith position. If this had happened a few weeks earlier the I would not of bought this one. A great looking reel and nice to use but unfortunately it seems not very durable. This is no reflection on the seller of this reel with whom I have no problem what so ever.
