This product has provided me with immediate relief. You have to start low and slow. However, it’s impact cannot be denied. Be gentle with yourself and don’t overdo it the first go round. But I carve out a little bit of my time each day to use this product because it has made a difference..

well worth the price, I LOVE IT

If you have super tight muscles, this will help release them. It uses bodyweight to relax tight spots. It's similar to a masseuse putting pressure on a tight muscle to try to get it to release (which usually requires you to breathe into the discomfort and mentally try to relax the muscle to the resistance). I am not going to say this is better than a licensed & trained masseuse (it's not), but when you need something to help try to loosen a tight spot between appointments, this might be worth a try (I needed to hit deep muscles [such as the illiac & psoas] and a massage gun wasn't effective for them; it's also really hard to relax while trying to give yourself a massage). Sometimes my muscles are so tight, laying on this is painful (it typically isn't comfortable). I alleviate that by taking a yoga block and placing it near this device or at a critical weight support point (shoulder, tailbone, neck, etc.) using it to offset my full weight and then as my muscles relax to the pressure, slowly work the block out until my full weight is on the device. It does alleviate the discomfort and I can feel the muscles move more fluidly afterwards. I will not say this is for everyone. It is uncomfortable starting out & I know some people may not be able to relax onto it. Also there is an instruction booklet in the box on how to place it and use it.

This is the fourth LittleMum product I've tried and now in my top 2 favorites, though probably the one I use the most. (One I returned because I didn't find it helpful, so I don't love them all blindly. :) ) I was particularly interested in this for targeting my middle-lower back muscles that are deeper and harder to reach with most tools. It took some time finding ways to use this and positioning myself right, but now that I've figured it out, I really, really like it. Remember to rest with pressure for the most effect. The back stretch side is great for a quick stretch and relief. It can often immediately adjust something to make things feel more in alignment. The neck/head massage parts are hit or miss for me. I have other tools that are better, and the rubber coating can pull on my hair. But if nothing else is around, it's nice to have this option. I don't find it to be the right position or depth for the iliopsoas release that it advertises. Other tools seem to be much more effective for me, especially when you can customize their positioning and targeting for your unique physiology. But it's quite possible this would work for some people. It's also small and light enough that I've been able to pack it in a carryon for a work trip, knowing the travel would likely put strain on my back.

Every Little mum product I’ve bought has been extremely high quality. I wish I bought this sooner. I recommend them to everyone. I feel better now than I have in years

I also bought one for the shoulders, but that one didn’t line up with my body. This one I can use in every way that it’s intended and get my back to crack and get my scalp taken care of and my neck. I turn it backwards. I turn it forwards.. I run it down my spine, my upper shoulders: more ways than they show examples of. It’s very capable of being used in a variety of ways and it brings relief. I recommend it.
