Button is not exposed over Matter with SONOFF Zigbee Bridge Ultra
Update: 12/01/2025:As of update 1.7.0 of the Zigbee Bridge Ultra, the button is exposed properly to Homekit and Home Assistant.I did end up paying to try the IFTTT integration and and am happy to report that this works fine for whoever wants that, albeit with a slight latency delay for actions to occur. Local control is of course better so I really appreciate this issue being fixed. It still doesn't show up in Google Home but that may just be a Google issue, I don't really use that much anyway but had it bridged simply because of how easy the Hub I'm using makes it do this. The main things I care about are using this button with Apple Home and Home Assistant and they are both working fine now.-----First of all, I promise to update this review if there's any updates.- The general quality of the button seems fine- You can press it, double press it and long press it as advertised- Pairing is simple and easy as I've come to expect with SONOFF (the eWelink app could be improved a little bit though to ask what to name the device and which room to put it in. I also wish the name exposed over Matter was the name you use for devices in the settings. If the Zigbee Bridge software could be updated to do that then that would be marvellous. It's a bit hard to find duplicate devices sometimes when you have more than one of the same device and they all have generic product names)HOWEVER:- The button does not show up in Google Home- The button shows up in Home Assistant (linked with Matter), however it is listed as "Unknown"I am aware that Matter as an ecosystem is still in its infancy and some teething problems are perhaps expected and will update this review accordingly if this is fixed. As it stands, don't buy this if you want to use it with Google Home or Home Assistant (over Matter). I would like to try to the IFTTT support (which could be used with webhooks to workaround this) but one of the things they don't tell you in the description is that this requires a £10 a year subscription. To be fair that's not a terrible price but I'm hesitant to try it given the issues I've faced.

Compact, bit inaccurate
So plus points, easy to pair with hub, compact, great fixing it.However, variable accuracy , bought 3 of these to replace my non-networked fridge sensors.1 out by 2c above the actual temperature.I have verified this with a thermocouple and the old sensors that agree, so 2 reference points.Same unit took about 8 hours to reach it's stable temp readingInstruction leaflet unusable, unless you use a microscope to read 😆Only other point, the app required, limits alarm temps to those above useable freezer temps

For the people saying not worth the money! Read on
This is absolutely worth it's money!Yes, battery holder could be better but if you just take 1 minute to remove the battery and push the holder down before you Re insert the battery, it's problem solved. Also, on the windows, usually you can have them slightly open but still locked, you can do this with this sensor however you have to make the magnetic stronger. You can get the dot magnets off amazon, they are very cheap and very strong. Bear in mind that most sensors are like this as the magnets on them aren't strong enough to be so far apart without triggering. After this, you have a great little zigbee door sensor for a fractikn of the price of most devices. If using smartthings, change the device type to something that runs locally, for example Orvibo Contact Sensor. This does improve things, specially speed. For the "eating battery ones" zigbee is amazing but has its limitations. If it is too far from the hub, it will eat away batteries. If it disconnects, it's even worse as it keeps trying to find the hub. This can be sorted if you have smartthings by adding repeaters like the Samsung plugs and you have a plus of being able to monitor energy consumption of that plug as well. If using the sonoff Bridge you can, buy a aeotec and swap to smartthings as its much better or just get an extra sonoff Bridge and place them in the right places around the house. I did use the bridge at first and one was enough to give me coverage around the whole house even tho it was placed in my comms cab and dealing with the WiFi interference from all my access points.I have had to replace 3 units, that I had purchased from ebay! They were cheaper and I don't know why but not the same as the ones here on amazon as I ended up having to replace them all.Today I use them all around my house to control my thermostats, to welcome me home 🙈, turn some lights on, vacuum the entrance when someone comes in and also on my alarm. For their price, at less than 1/3 of the price of most on the market I really don't understand the complaining. Are there better sensors on the market? Yes, there are, it is up to you if you want to buy the £10 ones or the £30/£40/£50 ones. Sonoff is a great company and produces some great devices at really affordable prices. And as far as simple door sensors go (without vibration and or temperature measurement and or light sensors etc) these are amazing for their price.
