This Victor Reinz RTV silicone arrived in a small tube and was ready to use immediately. The 70ml size is convenient for smaller gasket jobs without excessive waste. Used to reseal the upper timing covers on a M278 Mercedes Engine. After 10K miles, still no leaks. Application is smooth and consistent—the silicone dispenses evenly without clumping or requiring excessive pressure. Build quality and formulation feel professional-grade for the price point, not like a bargain-bin product. It cures properly within the stated timeframe and creates a solid, oil-resistant seal on the magnesium valve timing covers in my application. The Reinzosil formula holds up well to heat and has not leaked at all. My go-to choice for mechanics who need a dependable gasket maker without the worry of leaks or having to redo any jobs.

The Mini Gen 2 does not use an oil pan gasket. Used this product to seal my oil pan after installing new piston rings and connecting rod bearings. Worked well (after a 24 hour cure time) and no oil leaks since!
