Not a bad starter kit for the beginning soap-maker
If you're just starting out dabbling in soap making, then I would suggest you try this kit out first. It pretty much has everything you need. I chose it more because I really wanted a celtic design and can't really find them. However, please note that in this kit you receive a clear hard plastic mold and the molds are smaller than I thought they were. They are the size of small guest soaps- not full bars which was disappointing. The 3 oils included were nice and I had plenty left over for several more uses. However they are not labeled so you have to guess at which is which by smell alone. The glycerin pour-n-mold soap included is not the best quality. It disappears pretty fast in the shower after a few uses. The best thing in this kit is the small bag of apricot seeds! My husband absolutely loved that it gave it a loofah scrub feel built into the soap itself. You do only need a few pinches per bar and I had plenty left over. I am going to purchase more apricot seeds, lavender buds, dried orange peels, etc to include in my soaps as natural loofah built in since that was such a hit. This is a good base to test, try things out and see what tools, ingredients, etc you need to really then delve into soap making.

I didn't make soaps just to lay around looking nice, I wanted to actually use them
I followed the directions to the "T" but the soap does not LATHER...I didn't make soaps just to lay around looking nice, I wanted to actually use them. The molds are very small too. Not much bigger than motel soaps. If you took two motel soaps and stacked them, that's about the size of the mold. They're pretty to display but not to use. I used essential oils and it seems like it didn't take the scent. They just smell like soap afterward.

Great for first time soap makers
I used this kit to make my first melt and pour soap. After that, I became addicted! This is a great kit and comes with everything you need but a couple items you probably have in your kitchen. The only complaint I have is that the soap doesn’t come out of the mold easily. However, the mold is so cute I still use it anyway.I highly recommend this product for first time soap makers or for a fabulous gift.

Cheap crap
Fragrances: they smell vile except the vanilla. The citrus is tolerable and the herbal mint smells nothing like herbal mint.Overall quality is meh. The molds are simple plastic. You're better off researching what you need for soap making and buying separates.

Easy!
Made this soap today. It has plenty to make more then four. I made 6. You ah e to be fast, as the soap does dry quickly. I melted mine in the microwave on soften for about 35-40 seconds for a 1/4 of the bar. Add your ingredients before you melt the soap. It is a faster method. I’ve had only made soap twice. So this is only my second review on soap making.

Great starter kit.
This kit was my first attempt at making soap -- and it turned out pretty well, because the kit had everything I needed, a few pleasant fragrances, and good directions. If you're starting out wanting to make soap, I would recommend it. It would make a nice gift for someone who is into making soap, too.

Nice kit, but French instructions.
Product looked like the picture and included the items listed. However, the directions were written entirely in French. Using my high school French from many years ago and a little translation from the internet, I was able to figure out what was what in the kit. Only because I had previously used another melt and pour soap kit was I able to figure out how to use the supplies that came with this kit. I would not recommend this kit to anyone else unless the seller can promise instructions written in English if requested.

Just.. Wow!
Wow! It comes with a tiny loofah! The box was bigger than i pictured and the soaps look like one you might pay around $12 for! It's fun to mix and create a scent and they are exfoliating soaps! You get to make your own scent and it comes with 4 molds 2 different designs! Very pretty and would make amazing gifts wrapped in parchment paper and tied with the decorative rope string stuff you get at flower shops. All in all I was overwhelmed with the awesomeness! Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to make soap for a decent price and a product worth having!

just okay
meh, great for a quick craft or just to try it out. Molds cut our hands up trying to get the soap out, the scents all smelled the same and they smelled like old lady soap. Definitely invest in silicone molds if you buy this kit.

Good Choice!
This does exactly what it says on the tin! Please with the purchase, prompt delivery and packaging. Was expecting it to be shorter when folded right down but thats the only down side I can think of hence the 4 stars.
