No, it's not green tea. It is, in fact, a black tea that is grown and processed in a responsible manner that doesn't damage or deplete the soil. To me, it tastes better than any bagged tea usually sold here in the States.

is this strong? because i'm looking for a "punch you awake" kind of strong tea? for morning commutes. i'm not a morning person and i can't handle java

It's a nice strong black tea. I prefer it to coffee in the morning. Best drank Irish style- with milk and a little sugar. But good without anything also.

Are the tea bags supposed to be organized in the box? The box I ordered has the tea bags strewn about all over the place. Never seen tea like this.

I'm no physicist, but how would one "organize" a box of pliable, three-dimensional, four-sided polygons or, in this case, a box of Lyons pyramid tea bags? Now if the tea bags were solid, I'll bet the tea bags could be arranged to form one large, four-sided polygon and shipped in a four-sided polygon container...which would be a very cool marketing technique.
