It pushes the steering wheel closer to the driver, but the position isnt bad. more of a race car feel, even with a short hub. I love the way it looks. Super easy to install, and being able to remove the wheel while working on other things in the car makes things so much easier. Definitely worth it!

Bought this for my husband for Christmas last year. He’s finally got his race truck (GMC Sonoma) fixed up and installed it. He is very happy and said it was easy to install. We did purchase the NRG sport wheel in a coordinating color and they worked perfect together and look great! Comfortable grip.

Look and work good

Highly doubtful that this is a legit, authentic NRG product (since NRG's website clearly states that Amazon is not an authorized reseller). But I am only using this for sim racing, and not for the track, not for the street. Nevertheless, it seems like a high quality product... I wish they only sold the hub (male end for the wheelbase), for mounting to my Simucube 3 base. But, as a complete set, the wheelside quick release is the star here. Hearing that small 'ding!' when mounting it is good assurance that you are locked in. And releasing it doesn't take TOO much muscle -- it's relatively smooth going on & coming off.

I needed a new one of these but I wanted something that was also visually striking. And this does not disappoint. The color is amazing. I have this in my car that is almost 30 years old. I would absolutely buy this again. And in addition to it looking good, it also is a good product. I've been using it for about a month now with no issues. I pop my steering wheel on and off on occasion just to make sure the product is good. It's nice.

Works fine, easy install. The screws that come in the package are terrible quality will strip very easily. Because of that I had to drill one out and it damaged my steering wheel. Just get better screws and should be fine. Otherwise no complains.

Wheel can be removed by lifting ring without pressing the button. Ordered blue and received a metallic one. Still functions but the lack of button quality and order details make it only 3 stars.
