Excellent purchase! We have one that's 4 years old, and it's still going strong protecting one of our horses from the weather where we have it hanging on his stall. Just bought 3 more for the other side of his area, and two for our mare's stall.

Bought these for use in a 6.5' bed Truck. Unlike the much more common mylar tarps, these don't flail around in the wind, are darned stout and have some solid weight. I like these a LOT. Just keep em clean after use and they'll last a looooong time :)

Terrific. As promised, very heavy duty.

Two weekends ago we were heading out on a weekend ice fishing trip. I had literally just bought this tarp to cover our trailer, which is nothing fancy but had never had a problem and pulled well with my Durango. We loaded up the trailer with all of our ice fishing gear, which as anyone who is involved in said activity knows is quite spendy. I fastened the tarp to the trailer using a bungee system that I nicknamed "cat's cradle," and I felt quite proud of my MacGyver inspired achievement.Ten minutes into the trip on I-90, traveling at 80mph, the trailer lost a pin underneath which allows it to tilt for loading/dumping. The trailer went ape sh!t down the interstate, flailing left and right while my husband tried to keep the vehicle on the road. At one point the trailer literally landed on its side, slid along the ditch, and then flipped back up (like a cat, but enough about that). It was terrifying. I can't imagine how the people behind us felt-it really could have been a disaster!When we finally came to a stop, we feared the worst. The ice auger was on top of the two shacks, along with our pelican cooler. Somehow, the tarp did not tear beyond a small rip where the auger hit it. The only real casualty was a crack in the handle of the cooler (we'll call it a battle scar) and there were eggs leaking out of the cooler. Everything else was fine! I credit this tarp with saving not only our stuff, but maybe the lives of other people. We kept it as a memory of how Murphy's Law follows our family everywhere we freaking go.

This is a great tarp - high quality and very heavy - have not tried the water proof effectiveness yet

I’ve had this tarp over the opening of my woodshed for 3 months now. It is a windy area but has held up well. There are no signs of wear so far.

Got these for my husband to cover cattle feed while transporting to the storage area. He put on a strap today (2 8 25) and tightened the slack and immediately got a tear. SUPER disappointed and mad, especially since I bought 2. So much for great reviews.
