## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the outer diameter of these shaft collars? Didn't see in the specs but may have missed.**
A: Hello. The outside diameter is 1-1/8”
Best Regards
Victoria
Summit Collars

**Q: what size s the set screws? thank you**
A: The ones I received are 3/32". That's way way smaller than 4mm, 2.38 mm to be exact. I did not have that size, but do now.

**Q: 3/8" fit for 9mm pipe?**
A: 3/8" equals 9.52 mm so if your pipe is 9 mm the collar will slide on . There might be to much clearance for what you are specifically doing - just depends. If your usage is extremely critical then pursue a mm dimensional collar, if not a 3/8" will suffice.

**Q: To hold a 5" wheel 5/16 bore, using 5/16 collars, should I also use 5/16 flat and lock washers ?**
A: I would say a flat washer. But be sure to dimple -drill a shallow hole where the set screw will engage the shaft. Tighten the setscrew down add lock tight also.

I'm surprised how well they are holding up. I'm using them on a wheelbarrow and the replacement wheel hasn't shifted and if loaded it up with gravel and rocks. Would buy again but I don't think I'd need to.
