Proven comfort, My go-to for daily use and travel)
I rarely write reviews, but I always read them when deciding on a purchase. I’m so pleased with these shoes, I had to share!I’ve had my Viakix sandals for 18 months now. They were purchased last year in anticipation of a trip to Italy.I’m a fairly fit and active woman approaching forty, and I’ve had knee pain for twenty years. Poorly fitting shoes make it worse. So I knew I needed a comfortable shoe for our extensive walking during tours and sightseeing in Rome and Florence. These were a God-send! So naturally they were my first choice when we visited Grenada this summer. Again, they did not disappoint.I’ve bought more expensive sandals over the years, from well known brands, but these surpass them!! (I should mention I returned 5 other pairs of sandals during my pre-Italy search.)I have high arches and narrow feet. My feet also tend to swell in the heat. These straps are so soft and never dig in, even after miles of walking. (I bought Chacos around the same time as these, but I don’t wear them often, because they’re hard to make quick adjustments when feet swell, and they are a bit clunky for extensive walking, in my opinion. Although great for canoeing and light yard work.)Also, the Viakix foot bed is like walking on a cloud; it has quality arch support without feeling stiff. The reason why I’m writing today is because I found an old favorite pair of rather expensive leather flip flops. I slipped them on this morning, and within minutes I took them off in favor of my Viakix. That says something.Viakix company: Please keep up the great work, and never stop making your Siennas! : )

Arch support
I have plantar fasciitis and it’s hard to find comfortable sandals. In addition, my feet are narrow so straps are always too loose. This pair of sandals fitted perfectly. The straps fitted snugly but not tightly. I’ve only worn it a couple of times but for the times I’ve worn it they have been extremely comfortable, with excellent arch support and good with my heels as well. After a full day out, my feet were not paining, my back was not aching and I was very satisfied that I had taken the chance with this purchase. I wear 7 1/2.

I really want to like them, but maybe some refinements needed
This is our third pair of ViaKix at the house. I’m happy to give business to a new family based company and when we had issue with the first pair we had great customer service interaction, even when I was trying them for myself with a wide foot before they had a shoe really made for a wide foot. When I saw these were recommended by others for a wider foot I took a chance. For myself I’ve been a teva person the last decade plus and this time round I was disappointed in tevas “new designs” - so not me, and thought to revisit ViaKix, maybe they had something new. I ordered this pair, they were stylish and practical - yay for that combination! Some of the things noted:Quality control: watch the strap crossing in manufacturing. This is the second pair we had to exchange. The straps in the sandals we received have not matched the other shoe, overlap of straps in the wrong spot causing rubbing for being too wide for the area near the big toe (other style), reverse strap layout between each shoe (over under vs under over on straps crossing top of foot this pair). Each time we contacted customer service directly, they sent a new pair to correct the problem immediately, but as a buyer keep an eye out, it may be as simple as a strap issue which is easily remedied. With time I trust they’ll right their production issues and minimize this occurrence.Shoe width: I’m a wide - this particular style fit my foot, still a bit narrower than a comparable teva type sandal. I’d really love them to make a true wide shoe or widen their standard shoe bed to accommodate from a medium to a wide.Shoe arch support: I’d give them a 5/10 for that. I prefer the teva arch support system with their higher end footbed as well as the firmness for the soles. The ViaKix are a lot softer foot bed and feel like the footbed flattens out what arch support is there with heavier walking demand (8-10 miles at a theme park). This leaves the foot fatigued and necessitate moving into a different shoe with better support at least with my feet. Not sure if maybe it’s my weight too, not all of us outdoor types are of healthy weight - perhaps thought given to that demand or flex in your study.Colors: the current offerings are what I’d term neutral. Sandals should have some fun colors for summer- keep the neutrals but add in some spice! I’d love a green, berry or warmer red, heck even a purple. Even though it’s a trek sandal some zip is ok for color. The colors and designs they have chosen are clean and decent designs, I just like more color for myself and they’d fill a niche from lack of it in the world of peaches, taupes and grays (yuck).Straps: the ankle straps on these tend to grow during the day. I know there is stretch to it, but it tends to stretch with wear and necessitates tightening up throughout wear during use. Kind of a pain. I’m a fit and leave it type of gal.Ideally I’d love a bit of revision to their product, but overall it’s a good start! I’d try them again with some modifications if they are open to ideas for change. Their prices were good, the shoe was alright for heavy walking due to arch issues I had, for me these were better for around home and quick use or basic everyday wear for me. I did take them camping, swimming, theme parking and light hiking on fairly flat terrain. They held up well for some of those activities without my foot feeling tired or sore. The bottom sole was a little bit less triply than other competitors, but reasonable. I think with some adjustments they’d be on par or better than the long term brands they compete with and I appreciate they have entered the market! Thanks for a stylish sandal!

Meets needs for a water sandle
These sandles are overall very comfortable. The straps are soft and adjustable and fits as expected. The arch does not offer as much support as claimed. If you are looking for a sandle to walk in with lots of arch support than I would NOT recommend this sandle. I needed a slim design for the water with straps for going into the water and boarding boats (vs flip flops that fall off). This meets my overall needs and requirements.

Super Comfortable!!!
I got these to trek around in Sri Lanka and I couldn’t imagine a better sandal! These have been absolutely perfect on my trip walking on rocks, muddy terrain, through jungles, etc- all while my feet stayed comfortable & cool. Perfect travel sandal. 👍🏼

Cute and comfy
These are wonderful ! They blend style and comfort well ! I’ve owned them for about 2 months so far and they are great ! I’ve gotten many compliments and my chiro even wanted to know the brand so he could recommend to his patients !They provide support and feel like pillows. They are easy to wash .Not as easy to just slip on - it takes a minute to put them on with the different strings. The only semi annoying thing is that the strings get dirty pretty easy. But it’s easy to wash so not really a con.The quality seems great so far ! But I haven’t owned them long enough to tell the longevity of the product.

Great color, great comfort 👌
Love the design and the softness of the shoe. Sturdy sole for hiking but not enough support for more difficult hikes due to the flexibility of the fabric. Viakix is a good solid brand.

Awesome product, even more awesome company
I had another pair of Viakix walking sandals that I had for only a couple months. They began to break and I reached out to the company for some support. The person that I spoke to was kind and truly believed in their product. They happily came up with a generous solution, thus why I now own these sandals. These sandals are more supportive yet are still super comfortable. I like that I can walk through water in them and they dry very quickly and remain comfortable. My husband tells me that when I wear them, I’m in my mountain mom era. Can’t get a better compliment than that.I will continue to buy from this company because of their great product, but more importantly because of the people behind the great product.

Buenas
Al principio aprieta algo el dedo gordo del pie, sin embargo con el uso ( en el mar / parques acuáticos) no apretaba, supongo es de acostumbrarse. Excelente calidad

Most comfortable pair of sandals I own
I debated these for months and I'm glad I made the purchase. It's like you don't even feel them on your feet it's like a cloud, you do not feel the straps, you can't feel it over your toe, and you won't be hanging onto your sandal by your toes either because of all the support from the straps. It stays on and doesn't shift around your foot even when it's wet, they're easy to slide on and off once you get it adjusted to how you like it. They also look good with almost everything. Very very very comfortable for walking sandals definitely buy it.

Very comfortable sandals that stay on your feet!
These are awesome sandals in almost every way! If you are walking in rainy, puddly conditions your feet will get wet but the sole does not absorb water so you feet will be dry when the straps are dry. The straps don’t seem to stretch when wet and the sole didn’t get slippery. These Viakix sandals also stay on your feet when walking. No need to curl your toes or walk strange to keep your shoes on. The straps keep your feet firmly on the soles of the sandals. They are easy to put on and take off. The hardest part is getting your big toe into the non adjustable toe strap. This becomes harder still when the shoes are wet. When I say hard I mean hard hands free. Fingers easily help the big toe into its strap. The sole is moulded and comfortable for my normal, generally pain free feet. One strap across the top of the foot needs to be frequently tightened. The straps loosens on their own. I tighten the straps when I put on the sandals and occasionally when wearing them. Colour options are disappointing. The sandals look ok but I prefer brighter colours like pink. Maybe in the future Viakix will have these in pink and then I will need a second pair!
